Medium Tent - Non Electric Wild Camping PitchesAug 2025

Loved the composting toilets, sitting in a tent in the open. We camped and pitches are set with loads of space around, really wonderful. Bear in mind you need to push a barrow up a steep incline from your car with your stuff, not for the faint hearted, we loved the challenge!

A perfect off-grid, idyllic experience

Small Tent - Non Electric Wild Camping PitchesAug 2025

A fantastic off grid campsite in the South Downs - it's really beautiful, quiet and well located. From the minute you arrive through a 5 bar gate you know you are somewhere special. The pitches are few and private on terraced steps on a beautiful chalk down, covered in wild flowers and surrounded by lovely woodlands. If you want some quiet, lovely walks, beautiful views it's the place for you. Liz and Michael are brilliant hosts and are both very welcoming, hospitable and helpful. They have created a very special place. The facilities on site are great. It's all off grid, basic, but clean and everything works well and is tastefully sited. It's been the best camp site I have stayed in and I hope to be back one day.

Lovely site

Large Tent - Non Electric Wild Camping PitchesJul 2024

Lovely meadow site, well cared for, peaceful and quiet with secluded pitches and great views. Hundreds of butterflies, it was beautiful. Clean composting toilets, cleaner and better smelling than regular camp toilets. Big hill to climb up to get to pitches from car, but pitches are lovely and flat. Very close to Eastbourne.

Lovely stay
