Gadlys Touring Park offers a peaceful coastal stay on the Isle of Anglesey, a five minute walk from Cemaes Bay via a private path. Caravans, motorhomes, and campervans are welcome on fully serviced hardstanding pitches, set amongst landscaped grounds with hedges and planting that separate areas of the site. About the site


Enjoy a peaceful stay on the Isle of Anglesey. The park sits within the grounds of a hotel and is linked to Cemaes Bay by a private path, just a five minute walk away. Village shops, cafés and pubs are around 15 minutes on foot, while Traeth Lligwy beach is about a 20 minute drive. The Anglesey Coastal Path also runs nearby, offering beautiful walking routes along the coast. The site has 15 fully serviced hardstanding pitches for caravans, motorhomes and campervans. Each pitch includes a 10 amp electric hook up, fresh mains water and a waste point. The touring park is set within landscaped hotel grounds, with lawns, hedging and planted areas adding privacy. Guests can also explore the wider seven acres of gardens, ideal for picnics and letting kids burn off some energy. An onsite bar and restaurant serves lunch and dinner, along with a good choice of beers, wines and cocktails. There is also a spacious beer garden and terrace, perfect for sunny days, and a relaxed lounge area that is dog friendly. Children can enjoy the nearby play park, and watersports equipment hire can be arranged to be dropped off at the site too. The sandy beach at Traeth Mawr (Big Beach) is only a five mintue walk away and is great for seaside strolls, paddling and fresh sea air. With the coastal path close by, guests are well placed to explore Anglesey's amazing coastline and wildlife. Up to two dogs are welcome per pitch, making this a great choice for dog owners. Open fires are only allowed in raised fire pits, and BBQs must also be raised off the ground to help protect the grass.

Facilities include a modern portable cabin with toilets and showers. Set in the grounds of a hotel, there is also a playground for kids and a large beer garden. Onsite watersport equipment hire can be organised by 'Just Go Rogue'. An EV charging point is available too.

The bar and restaurant serves a gasto pub-style lunch and dinner menu, along with a range of beers, wines and cocktails. The seafood is brought from local fishing boats, and the meat is purchased from local butchers. The lounge area is also dog friendly.

A private path leads you to Traeth Mawr Big Beach (around a five minute walk). A Morrisons Daily is a 15 minute walk away for picking up essentials, along with a range of pubs and restaurants in Cemaes Bay.

Terms & Conditions

Full payment for the total length of your stay is required two weeks prior to arrival. No

recreational vehicles or tents may be pitched. To ensure compliance with the terms of the

Touring Park Licence, guests are asked to observe instructions, given on their arrival,

regarding the placement of vehicles, awnings on their pitch.

Arrival and departure

• All guests must check in at the hotel reception upon arrival.

• Guests are welcome to arrive and pitch between 1pm and 8pm. Any arrival prior to 1pm must

be agreed with us when booking. Guests arriving after 8pm must only be by prior

arrangement.

• Guests are kindly asked to depart between 8am and 12pm. Any departure outside of these

times must be agreed with us beforehand please.

Access during your stay

• Barriers to the Touring Park close at 10pm and re-open at 8am. Movement of vehicles on the

Touring Park is not normally permitted between those hours. Anyone wishing to enter or

leave the Park when the barriers are closed may park in the spaces provided outside of the

barrier. In an emergency only, you may contact the Duty Warden for the barriers to be opened

by phoning the emergency number.

Courtesy to other guests

• In consideration of everyone staying at the site, guests are asked to avoid excessive noise

with radio, TV's and phones turned down at all times please. Quiet time on the Park is 10pm

until 8am. We also ask that no vehicles are moved between these times.

• Abusive and/or drunken and disorderly behaviour will not be tolerated, and the

Management reserves the right to request guests to leave in these circumstances.

• No generators are allowed at any time.

• Cycling is permitted only on entering and exiting the site at walking pace. Anyone cycling

over the grass or around the reception or hotel area will be asked to dismount.

Regulations

• Smoking is not permitted in any of the site buildings. Campers are advised not to smoke in

awnings. Smokers must dispose of cigarette butts appropriately.

• Please do not leave refuse outside, including by or in awnings, as this can attract vermin.

Please us the bins provided.

• Gadlys Touring Park provides pitches for Motorhomes and Touring Caravans only, Tents and

additional vehicles are prohibited.

• Open fires of any description are not allowed on the site.

• BBQ's are allowed but must be kept off grass and lit in an appropriate container. All BBQ's

must be extinguished by 10pm.

• The Speed Limit on the park is strictly 5mph.

• Please adhere to our rules and regulations for the play equipment as displayed in the play

area.

• Charging of Electric Cars from the EHU bollards is strictly prohibited as this will

overload/damage the 16amp on site system.

Dogs/pets

• Dogs are allowed on site up to a maximum of 2 per pitch at the set fee of £2 per day, but they

must be kept under control and on a lead at all times even on your pitch area. It is the dog

owners responsibility to 'pick up' after their dog and to use the disposal bins provided.

• Dogs are not allowed on the Play Park and, other than Guide Dogs, are not permitted to

enter any of the site buildings.

Disclaimers

All property is left at owner's risk. Gadlys Touring Park will not be responsible for damage to,

or theft of or from, caravans, tents and vehicles left on site. Gadlys Touring Park and its agents

accept no responsibility for the safety of campers, or their equipment and personal effects.

Campers using Gadlys Touring Park do so at their own risk.

Booking requirements

• All bookings are subject to agreement with our terms and conditions.

• Unfortunately, requests for specific pitches may not always be possible to meet.

• You will need to make direct contact by email or phone before booking if you are a group:

- A non-family group requiring one or more pitches

- A group of families, couples or singles intending to stay on site at the same time.

• The online booking facility is for families, couples or singles requiring one pitch only for up

to 28 nights.

• All Pitches must be occupied by at least one person aged 18 years or over.

• Note that the Management reserves the right to refuse admittance of groups to the site if

they have not had prior knowledge.

• Gadlys Touring Park reserves the right to terminate the booking of anyone who fails to abide

by the park rules. The Management's decision will be final.

Payments and deposits

• A 25% or £25 deposit, whichever is the higher, is required at the time of Booking.

• Where the total cost of the Booking is less than £25, the full amount must be paid at the time

of Booking.

• Any balance of payment is required a minimum of two weeks prior to arrival. This may be

done at any time from the date of the Initial Booking, up to two weeks before your arrival.

Cancellations and refunds

• Provided you are able to advise us of a cancellation 7 days or more prior to your arrival date,

your payment can be transferred to a future booking within 6 months of the cancellation

date. Please note that no refunds can be given once a Booking has been made.

• Unfortunately no refunds can be given if you wish to move your Booking to another date or

cancel within 7 days of your arrival date, you arrive later than booked or you have to

terminate your stay early.

• We regret the weather conditions are beyond our control and cannot refund any monies if

you cancel your booking or reduce your stay due to the weather.

For your peace of mind if we are forced to close the Park you will receive 100% refund.

No compensation will be offered or implied


Things to do on site and in the Cemaes Bay area

One of the biggest highlights is the private footpath from the park to Traeth Mawr Big Beach, just a five minute walk away. This wide, sandy beach is perfect for long walks, paddling and beach games.

The same coastal path also leads to Cemaes Bay Harbour, also around a ten minute walk from the site. This charming seaside village has a working harbour and colourful boats. You'll find small shops, cafés and places to enjoy an ice cream while watching the boats come and go.

For a fun family day out, Parc Arfordirol Penrhos Coastal Park is about a 25 minute drive away. This coastal park near Holyhead has easy walking and cycling paths, picnic areas and wide views across the water. It's a great place for a gentle stroll or a relaxing afternoon outdoors.

Around 40 minutes away, Beaumaris Castle is one of the most impressive castles in Wales. Sitting right by the sea, this huge stone fortress is fun to explore, with towers, walls and open spaces to wander. The town of Beaumaris also has shops, cafés and a pretty seafront.

If you're looking for a full day of excitement, GreenWood Family Park is about 45 minutes away. Set in woodland, it offers rides, play areas and activities all focused on outdoor fun and adventure.
