Hart Lakes birthday break

Great hosts; lovely little piece of make believe for the perfect escape. So much thought has gone into making this the perfect stay-thank you! We LOVED our birthday break ♥️

Great relaxing escape

Just got home after an amazing two nights at Hart Lake Escapes. The hosts where exceptional, and where very informative on arrival to ensure we knew where everything was and how everything worked (log burner, hot tub) after that we where left to relax with the hosts just a phone call away. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a short break away for some peace and quiet with the option of visiting nearby York, Whitby or Scarborough. We will definitely be visiting again!

Amazing weekend

We stayed in one of the five shepherds huts and had a fantastic weekend. The huts are all well equipped and decorated to perfection. Nothing is too much for the hosts. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Scenic

Had a lovely time with the partner, Claire gave us a warm welcome. The shepherds hut and surrounding areas were a treat and the hot tub was the icing in the cake. Had a late night drink by the lake with some nice lights, giving it a nice warm feeling.

Amazing experience

Absolutely amazing stay. Andrew and Clare were great hosts, would highly recommend and already booked a second stay.

Fantastic getaway

We stayed for two nights in The Nest Hut, and it was amazing. Andrew and Clare were very welcoming and friendly, with some great suggestions of local things to do. The grounds were peaceful, quiet, and well looked after. The huts were lovely inside and out, with some really nice touches. The hot tub was perfect, especially at night under the stars. We would love to go back again and will 100% be recommending it to everyone we know.

A relaxing and cosy few days

We stayed here for a few days last week. From start to finish Andrew and Clare were the perfect hosts. Upon arrival, Andrew gave us clear instructions regarding how to heat the hot tub. It's really straightforward, so don't worry about it. He also talked us through the hut, which was so cosy and charming. Clare had prepared a welcome pack for us and tailored it to our dietary requirements. We're both vegan and it was no trouble. We were celebrating my partner's birthday and on arrival there was a card and a beautiful birthday cookie cake. It was delicious. The huts are really well equipped to rustle up and quick meal and the slow cooker is an excellent idea as the space is tight. It is a hut after all. One of the big factors for us booking to stay here apart from the hot tub was having toilet and shower facilities in the hut. These facilities were excellent. The shower was really powerful and hot and the toiletries were a nice touch. Don't get me started on the hot tub, just wow! If you're reading this and mulling over a few different places offering a similar set-up, honestly forget them and book this place! You won't regret it.

A wonderful getaway

My girlfriend and I went to celebrate her birthday and Valentine's Day. We stayed for 2 nights in "The Warren" and I can honestly say that I was completely blown away from the whole experience, which was nothing short of fantastic. The accommodation was impeccably clean with all of the mod-cons you'd need for a great glamping experience. The log-burner powered hot tub was a particular highlight. They really had thought of everything. The cherry on top was the little birthday card and cake they had waiting for my girlfriend on the table for when we arrived. Ran by an absolutely delightful couple who were friendly and accommodating. Would absolutely recommend to anybody looking for a quiet retreat somewhere for a few days! 10/10
