Amazing site

Our stay
Motorhome - Hedged Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Jul 2024 Some of the pitches need a little bit of work and some of the trees need a good trim. The facilities are very clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Thank you for your review. It's a difficult time of year for the hedges and trees. We try whenever possible to avoid cutting in the bird nesting season and cut/prune when it's safe to do so. Sorry if it caused any inconvenience.

Absolutely amazing!
Medium Tent - Large Hedged Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Jul 2024 I wasn't sure when making the booking, but once I visited it, it was simply amazing!
Best decision I've made. It's a very quiet spot close to the beach and Tesco and pubs. Would 100% recommend this place!

Wonderful site
Medium Tent - Hedged Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Jun 2024 We chose this site for its eco-credentials and the fact it offered EV charging. We were not disappointed - Richard and the team could not have been more accommodating and welcoming. The site is carefully laid out into spacious yet private plots with hedges/bushes at the borders with other plots.
The toilet block and washing up facilities were modern and clean, and the small freezer just for cool block freezing was brilliant.
The children's park, although irrelevant for us, looked great, as did the activities hut for rainy weather or just to chill out with others or watch TV. We didn't buy anything in the shop but it was handy to know it was there - great to see all the prices were on cardboard - i.e. eco-friendly.

Brilliant campsite
VW-Type Campervan - Hedged Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Jun 2024 We had a wonderful stay at Tehidy. The facilities are immaculate and the play area for the children was great. We enjoyed listening to the bird song in the evening and being surrounded by wildlife.

Lovely friendly site
VW-Type Campervan - All Weather Pitches (Optional Electric) Jun 2024 A little jewel of a site nestled just outside Portreath .Good location to explore from Portreath to St Ives and further. Lovely run, spotlessly clean site. Richard is not only a nice chap but full of knowledge of the local area. Pitches are nicely laid out with plenty of room. Will definitely be returning for another visit.

Excellent site
VW-Type Campervan - All Weather Pitches (Optional Electric) May 2024 Wonderful location, secluded pitch with hedges around. Level pitch for the van. Owner/manager very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Will definitely be back.

Lovely, clean site
Single Axle Caravan - Hedged Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Sep 2023 Lovely, clean site, showers and toilet blocks especially.
We did find the site a little steep when towing the caravan to the pitch, our wheels were spinning, but once on the pitch it was fine. The man on reception was very helpful also.
Local beaches were lovely, Gwithian and Portreath, lots of amenities on Portreath beach 🏝️ including toilets and places to eat.

Bank Holiday getaway
VW-Type Campervan - All Weather Pitches (Optional Electric) Aug 2023 Fabulous site, large individual pitches. Toilet/shower facilities very clean, also washing up facilities. Ideal to explore many different areas. Check in quick and easy and useful information on surrounding areas etc. A little road noise, but nothing too drastic. Beaches within 5-6 minutes and close to coastal path.

Extra Large Tent - Extra Large Hedged Grass Pitch (Optional Electric) Aug 2023 Absolutely brilliant site. So so quiet, so brilliant for our young family.
Spotlessly clean everywhere. Owner really lovely and has a font of information on things to do and places to go.
Can't wait to return.

Extra Large Tent - Extra Large Hedged Grass Pitch (Optional Electric) Aug 2023 Excellent park, private hedged pitches. Small park so never feels busy or overcrowded. Park for kids is great with little sunken trampoline. Clean toilets and shower block.
Only issue would be the showers automatically turning off every 5 seconds, which is annoying when you're trying to help a child!
Otherwise, we loved it and would definitely go back and recommend!

I get what you say about the showers. They are push button for 20 seconds then you have to re-press. We do this for water saving to avoid showers being left on.

Lovely little place!
Large Tent - Hedged Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Jul 2023 I loved my stay here, the owner and check in was lovely and friendly and gave us lots of ideas on local places to visit! The shower block was spotless at all times!
Myself and my wife really welcomed and safe as a gay couple! We will definitely be returning!
