What a amazing week
Bell Tent - Bell Tents Aug 2026 Well we booked for three days, enjoyed it that much we extended another 4 days. We still didn’t want to leave. Daisy the host is amazing and tends to anything you need. Always available and just a general lovely person to deal with. She made the kids welcome, and they had so much fun, with no electronics in sight. The bell tent is very well equipped with absolutely everything you need. Even things you didn’t think you would need. The bed was lovely and comfortable and the tent was lovely and warm. All clean fresh and beautifully lit up by solar lights every evening. If your looking for a perfect spot in St Austell this is your place.
Rustic and charming

Perfect location for adventures in Cornwall and with all the amenities just 10 mins down the road in St Austell. Lots of space and very quiet. Field is on a slope so pick your spot carefully!
The spring-fed outside showers were amazing in the heatwave!

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2026 This is the 2nd time we have stayed here in the last 2 months found the place perfect for visiting family first visit we stayed 2 nights and the family came over for a BBQ tea and left at 9pm this time we had a dog trainer join us one morning and did some work and it is just so quiet even in the middle of August there was plenty of space to park up we even had some wild Deer 🦌 visit our campsite

Daisy is at the camp 4/5 times daily cleaning and ensuring site is up to scratch.
We will be staying again

Host was very helpful and easy to contact. Showers and compost loo were charming and very well kept. A host of butterflies and birds to watch, as well as the local horses at the gate to tickle! We will definitely be back and we so recommend you go too!

Lovely campsite
Bell Tent - Bell Tents Jun 2026 Really enjoyed our stay in the bell tent, very comfy. The campsite could really benefit from a cooking shelter for those rainy days and more lighting in the toilets. We did get given an umbrella to cook under which was very thoughtful.

Everyone is so friendly. Proper Cornish! Best Cornish pasty and full breakfast 3mins up the road! Prime van life location. Cant fault it. Cant wait to go back!

Campsite outside St Austell
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Touring Pitches May 2026 Great - wild and simple. Basic facilities (no flushing loos!) but clean and all facilities by the side of the field and tucked into the hedge. (Didn't try the hose shower -as i didn't feel the need for a cold shower!)
Lovely and quiet -only one other small tent the other end of the field. A wild deer grazing nearby as the sun came up at 5.30 am. Very peaceful.

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Touring Pitches Aug 2025 Great place to stay if you like peace & quiet and don't mind a bit of "wild camping".
This was such a relaxing spot and close to main towns and access routes. Plenty of space, although most of the field is on a slope. The compost loos and outside showers made it all great fun. These were cleaned and maintained very regularly.
If you like walking or cycling, there's plenty of places within easy reach, too. The owner was extremely helpful and always available, either by phone or on her regular visits to the field. This is somewhere that I will definitely be returning to.

Hired a firepit this year and logs. Saved bringing our own. Toilets were always clean. Cold showers available. Basic Eco friendly place.

Toilets composting and clean, shower great and refreshing, spring water for drinking and washing up was fantastic.
Will return when in the area.

Great escape in the outdoors
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2025 Quiet field. Plenty of space. Eco friendly facilities (cold shower, composite toilet, washing up sink, fresh spring water tap), responsive host and a rentable fire pit- nice touch.
Plenty of things to do in the local area (Eden project, beaches, coastal walks, national trust, Charlestown, Fowey, Lost gardens). Great stay would come again.

If your not bothered about the frills of electricity and warm showers this is a perfect campsite. There is lots of space and 2 compost loos + outdoor showers + washing up sinks. A short woodland walk down to Porthpean beach. If your looking for walks along the coast path this is in a brilliant location.
The owner Daisy was very attentive and brought us a fire pit and logs which was brilliant!

Lovely little campsite- very simple and clean and perfect for a couple of nights off grid relaxing! Supermarket near by and a choice of lots of beautiful beaches!
Highly recommend Pentewan beach and Gorran Haven beaches!

Perfect location for our visit to the Eden sessions. Quiet and peaceful spot that we're definitely going to visit again.
