Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Small Pitch Jul 2023 Lovely little site, Paul was very pleasant and friendly when we arrived.
Toilets were clean and 20p for a 3-minute shower, ample time for a hot shower.
Plenty of walks near the site and a bus service to Kendal and Kirby Lonsdale is 5 mins walk from the site.
Would definitely recommend to friends and we will return again.

What a gem!!
Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Jul 2023 Lovely site, still being developed. Paul, the owner goes out of his way to make his guests welcome.
The showers are good value for money for 20p. Lovely and hot with toiletries supplied. The best shower of our two-week break.
Our dogs loved their walk along the canal. The Crooklands hotel is next door, very busy so best to book in good time if a meal is required.
The site is handy when travelling north or south as it is only a few minutes away from the M6.
We only stayed one night on our way home, but we were so impressed by the site that we plan to book a longer stay in the future.

Great wee site
Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Jul 2023 Well cared for site with friendly owners who are currently making a few improvements with a new toilet block and some landscaping.
It's in a great position to visit the many lovely towns and villages in Cumbria and the Lakes.
Two excellent eateries nearby...the Crooklands Hotel is literally 200 yards from the site, but you must book as it gets very busy.
The Plough is a short drive and the food was top-notch and reasonably priced.

Little Acre, little gem
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Jul 2023 I visited Little Acre in my touring caravan for 8 nights in July with my little 4 legged pal and what a hidden gem we found.
Paul and Sarah (owners) are friendly and very informative. The location is adjacent to the Lancaster Canal which was ideal for our walking holiday. I didn't use the toilets, so afraid I can't comment so I've only given a nominal rating (sorry) but fingers crossed it won't be the last time I visit this site.
Keep up the good work guys!

Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Motorhome and Campervan Pitches Jul 2023 Brilliant site. Never stayed on a site that supplies electric leads for you and everything you could need in the showers, shampoo/conditioner and shower gel. Even supply cotton buds and cotton wool balls.
The owners are really friendly and obviously love what they do. Will definitely be going back.

When you return, our new loo, shower and laundry block will be completed - which will be a welcome improvement of the block that it replaces.

Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Jun 2023 Lovely quiet site, very friendly and welcoming. Clean loos. Superb dog walk by canal.
Great situation for touring, so near to Kendal and Bowness on Windermere and a lovely pub within walking distance.
