Pitch up with fantastic views of Weymouth Bay at Rosewall Camping, just outside of Weymouth, 15 minutes from Dorchester. Choose from plenty of spacious grass pitches with breathtaking views across the bay, each suitable for tents and campervans. The site serves up all the attractions of the South Coast, with the bonus of fishing in two well-stocked lakes and horse riding opportunities next to the site. A great location to discover Dorset!

Great two nights stay. Love the fact we could have arrived earlier on the day and will bear in mind in the future. Very clean showers and toilets. Shop. We did move after first night as realised we were on slight slope. Choice of where to pitch very good though, all with views. Pub 10 mins walk away is in lovely setting. Lots of seating in and out very relaxing. Security lady very helpful and lent us an adaptor to fill our water on campervan as we forgot to pick ours up! Walked South Coast to Weymouth which took 2 hours. First hour up and down, but not difficult second hour all along the beach. Got the bus back. Would stay again.

Fabulous! Gorgeous views, plenty of really good facilities - never had to wait to wash up/ shower etc. All very clean, plenty of bins, recycling and water stations dotted around. It is a bit slopy, so you have to choose your pitch carefully so you don't end up sleeping on top of each other! If you plan on going to the Smugglers Inn, it's worth booking - they turned us away on Sunday.

This was our first camping trip since having the children (now 2 & 4) so we were a but nervous about how it would all pan out. However, we had a wonderful time and will definitely be booking again! Rosewall had lovely clean toilet and shower facilities with plenty of plug sockets for phone charging. They had a nice little park and stunning views down to the sea! The Smugglers pub was lovely and only a short walk down the hill, though not pushchair friendly. We all enjoyed the scrambling walk down from the pub to the beach, which was perfect for the little ones to play - climbing on rocks and splashing in the small pool at the bottom of the little waterfall. Would definitely recommend to other campers!

This site is in a great position on a hill overlooking the valley down to the sea, you have to find the best pitch for you as it is on a hill but has plenty of good pitches. Very helpful staff, facilities were great, clean and plenty of hot water etc. The shop was a bonus for any last minute essentials. The location on the coast was great for exploring the great coast and into Weymouth as well. Would book again.

Campsite doesn't offer any internet or electric hook ups, however it is peaceful and very well managed campsite. It is quite close to beach and 4-5 minutes walk away from a nice pub. Facilities were really clean. We definitely will visit again.

Nice mirror in bathroom. Sea view was pleasant but hidden by caravan. Great ground for putting pegs in.

Coastal path and Smugglers Inn on your door step and a site that is genuinely quiet at the times it says should be quiet, absolutely brilliant. Love the flexibility on where to pitch, fires, BBQs, tent size and dogs. Site is large but broken up with hedges. Washing facilities clean and large with plenty of charging points. Most of all, loved that despite being a big site with plenty of families and groups of people enjoying sports and chat, the site was genuinely quiet at 11:00, ensuring a good night sleep and music was kept to a considerate level. Will be back.

What an amazing find, totally exceeded our expectations. Amazing location for exploring the area and spectacular views. That was enough really but the facilities (shop and shower blocks etc) were great, as was the service. Icing on the cake was 10 mins walk to a lovely pub with great beer and food and a great atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

Great view of the sea from the hill, very clean and tidy - good facilities and on a day that was at full capacity, it didn't feel crowded.

Difficult to find flat ground

Google Earth does not reveal how hilly this site is and on one of the most popular weekends of the year, it was difficult (in our case impossible) to find flat ground to pitch our tent upon.

A beautiful site and kept to the highest standard. Thought it was incredibly clean considering how busy it was!

Great location with stony beach and lovely pub in walking distance. The facilities were plentiful, meaning you never had to queue for the toilet or shower. The site was on a hill so, if busy, it can be difficult to find a flat patch. It would have been nice if there had been one section left as child free. I think it's great that kids can be out all day playing football, but I'm not a great fan of being hit in the face by the ball or woken at 6am by a tantrumming toddler. Also, thought it was a bit excessive to charge for freezing ice blocks. We had our own and didn't really want to rent theirs but we were given no choice.

Rosewell campsite is one of the best campsites I've stayed at, ease of booking and getting set up, large area to choose from, 2 sets of wash facilities depending which end of the campsite you are. Instant access to South West Coastal Path, lovely local pub a 10 minute walk away! Would 100% recommend to everyone from individuals to families and groups of friends.

The only thing I would say would be for the shop to be open a little longer in the evening maybe 4-6 instead of 4-5. Otherwise a beautiful, well kept site with fantastic views.

If you need a bit of time out, come here. Beautiful views, fabulous facilities - it's just easy. Choose your pitch and stop and breathe, maybe wander down to the Smugglers Inn, a 10minute stroll, or maybe just look at your surroundings. Glorious.

Lovely clean campsite with great facilities. Plenty of toilets/showers and a short walk to lovely pub, The Smugglers Inn. Plenty of space on site and they encouraged 6 metres between fellow campers which was very generous. A well stocked shop too.

We enjoyed our short stay but there was a noisy party close to us with at least 12 kids who were loud sometimes past 22:00. Then, the adults were left talking loudly until gone 00:30. A reason we chose this campsite was because of its quiet policy and unfortunately, this was not upheld on this occasion. This has not put us off coming back which I am sure we will.

Lovely site with plenty of space to pitch. Only ended up staying one night due to weather conditions and traffic, but the staff were amazing about this. Clean toilets and showers, only thing is my shower was cold. Maybe I needed to give it some time to heat up.

Was quite busy when we arrived & when we left, but as people left, we had the top field pretty much to ourselves (joys of be able to holiday outside school holidays). Groups arriving as we left, so the quietness we appreciated probably not going to be the same now. Friendly & helpful staff in the little store & warden always available if needed. Facilities ample & kept clean. Would certainly recommend & use again.

Nice campsite. No set pitches so you need to work out if you are more than 6m from all your neighbours when setting up. Good, clean facilities and fantastic views. A trip down the hill to the Smugglers Inn is worth it for a drink. Well located for local attractions. We went to Swanage for the day and this is not too far to go from here.

Excellent campsite. Facilities were great and near a fabulous pub! We came with our 1 year old and another family with a toddler. Campsite felt clean with good toilets, washing up areas and showers. Well stocked shop and the kids loved the children's play area too. Only 10 mins from Weymouth and an easy walk to a quintessentially Dorset pub - idyllic. And you could see the sea! Our pitch was on a slight slant so just be careful before you pitch! Would 100% recommend this campsite - would suit anyone wanting peace and quiet.
