Pitch up with fantastic views of Weymouth Bay at Rosewall Camping, just outside of Weymouth, 15 minutes from Dorchester. Choose from plenty of spacious grass pitches with breathtaking views across the bay, each suitable for tents and campervans. The site serves up all the attractions of the South Coast, with the bonus of fishing in two well-stocked lakes and horse riding opportunities next to the site. A great location to discover Dorset!

Rosewall was great. Very clean and neatly cut grass. We had a view of the sea. Bathroom facilities clean and well kept. The shop was reasonably priced and had all essentials. It's very close to the beach. We'll recommend Rosewall for sure!

Fantastic campsite would definitely stay again! Brilliant 'burger van' which has an excellent selection of food and they even come back in the mornings for breakfast!

Great location, fantastic and clean facilities. Loads of space between pitches, so not packed in like sardines. Takeaway food available on site and walking distance to The Smugglers Inn.

Absolutely brilliant campsite. Spacious, extremely clean facilities, no queues and very friendly staff! Location is golden with routes to east and west coastal paths. Pub 5 mins walk with amazing sea views. Such good value for money. Will be making this a regular place to stay!
Left to it in the best ways possible!

Great site with beautiful sea views and left to ourselves in the best way possible! No set pitches, just park up wherever you like, no need to check in if you roll up later then 5pm, just let them know you're there the next morning! Two toilet blocks, so you're always in walking distance despite the site being quite large and hilly. Very well stocked shop, the only thing is I would have preferred to have been greeted - it would have been a little bit more friendly! You can pay a refundable deposit for some freezer blocks but we'd have preferred to have this as well as being able to freeze our own so our food stayed cold on the way back home! :) The chilled atmosphere was great as it definitely wasn't a 'quiet' campsite even after a certain time. We didn't mind that too much. All in all, we would 100% stay here again if we were the sort of campers to visit a town twice!

My stay was great, beautiful location with rolling hills around and I stayed during the week when it was nice and quiet. On the Friday it got busier and noisier, but I left the Saturday morning. The facilities were great, I was surprised with how clean it all was. There's a pebbly beach a short walk away, and the Smugglers Inn (also a short walk) does great food. I did the walk from the campsite to Durdle Door, which was a tough walk but beautiful for those interested in a hike.

Overall, it's well above the average campsite. Pros: - Very spacious and it wasn't really busy - Quiet night - Great facilities, no queuing, clean and tidy - Raised fires and BBQ allowed, which is a must 🔥 Cons: - Most pitches are on a slope, so I'd recommend you get there early.

I've just returned from a wonderful stay at Rosewall; just me and my two dogs. I stayed midweek and the site was extremely welcoming, peaceful and with very clean facilities. There are brilliant walks straight from the site and also a great pub which serves good food. This is such a lucky find for me and I'll definitely be returning soon.

A lovely campsite with clean, well-equipped facilities like shower blocks, toilets and washing-up stations. Good vibe to the whole camp, respectful 'neighbours' and a great location to use a base to visit local attractions. The on site shop is fairly overpriced and quite basic, but I guess good for an emergency. Otherwise there's plenty of large supermarkets 15mins drive away.

Great family site with beautiful sea views, however, it was a little windy when we went, but that can't be helped due to the coastal location. Site has a reasonably priced shop but closes at 6pm, toilet and shower block are very good and cleaned at regular intervals, no shortage of hot water or water pressure, and plenty of washing-up areas for everyone. Very friendly, relaxed family camping experience, our little girl had the time of her life meeting new friends and being able to play outside on the huge green spaces available. If there is a negative, my personal choice would be to have an onsite pub/restaurant. At busy times, there is a burger van on site. Overall I would highly recommend this site.

Wonderful family stay at this family-run campsite. The owners couldn't have been more cheerful and helpful at checking in. Very clean well-kept site. Our little ones loved having the playground close to our pitch. Great location with a stroll to the beach and a great pub, with good food. Well stocked shop too. We will definitely return :)

Great location, friendly staff, loads of room for the kids to range. Spotless facilities. Nice pub 5 min walk away. SW coast path in either direction from the site is spectacular. Loved it. One small negative - nothing specific to the site. If considering cycling into Weymouth, the main road through Osmington into town isn't great for anyone other than adult cyclists. We rode down with two kids (8 & 13) and chose to walk back along the coastal path pushing the bikes (nuts I know) rather than risk them back up the main road.
Location good

The location is good, shower/ toilet block was clean and whole site looked after well. The staff were also friendly. My only issue was the noise from all the other campers. I know you can't control people, however it ruined it for me. The biggest reason for picking this site was because it stated that it was only for families and couples. This was not the case, it was full of big groups, playing music until 12:30pm at night! Nobody was policing this or checking it. There were also dogs running wild. As a family we were looking for a quiet spot to relax and chill and escape from life. If this is your requirement, go someone else.

We had the perfect time staying at Rosewall Camping. It has a beautiful sea view and it isn't far to travel down to the coast. We walked down to The Smuggler's Inn, less than 10 minutes walk along a footpath, an excellent pub that has a wide selection of drinks and great food - this was the perfect addition to our trip. The facilities are very clean, and the showers have hot water. We would certainly visit again, and so would our dog!

I booked 2 nights after the bank holiday madness had ended so the site was very quiet, which suited me. I'm sure its great fun when its packed too. Very clean loos and showers, relaxed vibe but with a warden on site so any late night noisy shenanigans would be sorted I'm sure. You can walk out onto the coastal path from the bottom of the field, which is a luxury. Fires are allowed on a raised pit or brazier, which I didn't realise when booking. Had a very relaxing 2 nights under lovely dark skies, will certainly come here again.
