peaceful location Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Touring Pitches May 2026 Very peaceful site, in the old walled garden. Toilets and showers weren't very clean in the morning, but that was before the staff started work. but otherwise good experience. Great food and seevice at the Cross Inn, which is walkable.
Genuine walled garden with espalier fruit trees Recommends site
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Touring Pitches May 2026 Site well laid out in what was a genuinely walled garden with espalier fruit trees in blossom.
2 Showers. The one I used was big enough for my wheelchair with free flowing water (no knobs to keep pressing!) I would have liked it a bit warmer.
Lovely site Recommends site

Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Touring Pitches Apr 2026 Lovely site will most certainly return.
This is a peaceful lovely site with many walks from the fire. A beautiful river nearby and access to the lovely Paxton house gardens.
Lovely place with a dog.
Excellent Recommends site
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Touring Pitches Mar 2026 This is an excellent site. All hard standing level pitches with electric hook up. The walled garden provides a unique setting that is well sheltered at this time of year. There are some wonderful walks straight from the site.
Lovely peaceful site Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Touring Pitches Feb 2026 First visit and we loved it. Really quiet site and the pitches are far enough apart that it wouldn't matter if it was busy.
Bonus that there were toilets that weren't advertised! Shame that it's still full price despite not getting access to the grounds out of season as you normally would. Would recommend though.
