Each features proper mattresses, soft furnishings, and a log burner to keep you cosy. Outside there is a fire pit/BBQ and plenty of space to unwind. You will be just 15 minutes from Morpeth and 30 minutes from the coast.

About the site


Nestled on the outskirts of the idyllic rural hamlet of High Angerton, this adult-only site is the perfect luxury getaway surrounded by Northumberland's picturesque countryside. For days out, the market town of Morpeth is just 15 minutes away and sandy beaches can be reached within a 40 minute drive. There are just six bell tents on offer, each providing guests with a luxury camping alternative surrounded by beautiful farmland home to sheep, horses and lots of wildlife. Inside each bell tent is a proper mattress with bedding provided, there are extra blankets and a wood burner for cosy evenings as well as lighting and a kettle. Outside each is a fire pit and seating, perfect for nights in the open! As well as basic amenities in your tent, the site also offers a small kitchen area, with a fridge, washing up area, and a supply of crockery and BBQ equipment. Enjoy taking a step back from everyday life and explore the surrounding countryside trails, stroll along the river that runs behind the site, or if you are looking for some urban life head to Morpeth. Here there are a range of shops and restaurants to explore. Alternatively, Northumberland National Park can be reached within 35 minutes. Dogs are welcome onsite. There is a fire pit outside and a wood burner inside for fires.

Facilities include showers and toilets. Each bell tent includes a camping kettle with tea and coffee and cooking utensils. There is phone charging available too.

For meals out, the closest pub is The Beresford Arms which is a 15 minute drive away or head to Morpeth for more options which is a 20 minute drive from site. Here, there is also a range of shops including a Lidl for picking up your self catering essentials.

Things to do on site and in the Morpeth area

The site is surrounded by picturesque countryside, great for countryside strolls with your canine companion or a picnic sat along the river banks. If you want to head a bit further, Northumberland's National Park (35 minutes) is a great spot for hikes and trails, be sure to make a stop at Hadrian's Wall!

For days out, the market town of Morpeth is just a 15 minute drive away and is a bustling blend of historic architecture with modern shops and restaurants, stroll along the river and mooch around the shops for an afternoon!

Northumberland is a great spot for Puffin spotting, head to Bamburgh (1 hour) to catch a boat over to the Farne Islands where it is best to see them in the months of May, June and July. Then catch the boat back across and explore Northumberland's Coast National Landscape for some pretty beaches.
