A delightful campsite, with everything you'd want and need

Thank you for a lovely two night stay in one of the beautiful bell tents. They were a delight! Clean and very pretty inside and out. A little luxury camping that I've not experienced before, but would definitely do again. Everything was thought of right down to the s'mores kits! A great bonus for us having travelled in a fully loaded Mini Cooper with very little space for any accessories. An extra heater was well received and the hosts could not have been more accommodating and friendly. Excellent location, just 15 mins from Alton Towers! Hope to see you again soon 😊

Absolutely amazing

When we arrived we were greeted by the warden who showed us where to go. The tents were clean and tidy and the toilets and showers were clean and fully functional. The information centre was very handy for ideas. We went to Alton Towers on the Saturday and as we left, the warden and his wife had put a lovely sign up saying happy 18th to my daughter. Such a lovely gesture. The warden was more than happy to help with anything we needed and checked throughout our stay that all was ok when he saw us. We really did have a fantastic 2 night stay in the bell tents. A friendly welcome and a nice campsite with good facilities.

Beautiful campsite in peaceful surroundings

We stayed in a Bell tent for 2 nights. We chose this location as it was 15 minutes drive from Alton Towers. The campsite is beautiful and quiet. There is a communal kitchen with sink and washing up bowls, microwave, kettle and large fridge freezer. There is also an information shed with everything you need to know about the area and places you can visit. There are communal shower rooms. Toilet roll is provided and the showers are beautifully hot. Our Bell tent could sleep 6 people. We needed to take our own bedding with us, which was expected. The Bell tent also came with a table and 4 chairs, a lamp, an electric fire, a kettle and 5 cups. There was 5 outside chair loungers, a picnic table and a fire pit. We could park our car right next to our Bell Tent. We would definitely recommend this campsite as it provided everything we needed for a lovely clamping experience. We will definitely be returning.

Hidden gem, loved our stay

We would certainly recommend this park. 360 degrees of countryside views. The bell tent was awesome. Perfect for large families and has a fire pit and chairs, so only need to bring bedding. The couple who look after the site are so friendly and helpful and were really good to our children. There is a large fridge freezer in the kitchen, which is a huge plus as it was hot so all our drinks we stored and kept them nice and cold. They sell ice pops for 20 pence, a favourite with our kids.

Peaceful and relaxing site

This is a beautiful friendly little site. The pitches are a good size and considering it's in the top of a hillside the pitches were relatively level and sheltered. The site provides you with a fire pit and you can get logs from the wardens on site. The location is good, I took a walk to the local high street which has a coop and a few pub/restaurants. The walk is downhill so remember the journey home is all uphill, it's about 3/4 mile and it's a safe pathway so suitable if walking with children as well. We stayed her for our visit to Alton Towers, the drive to there is nice and easy and only takes about 15 mins. The shower and toilet facilities are set in a beautiful little fairy garden with the fully equipped camping kitchen. The showers are a good size and have lots of room to get changed and put your bits without having to worry about them getting wet. The only downside to the facilities is the lack of hot water taps. You can only get hot water in the shower which if you just want to wash your hands and face is a little bit annoying.

Great for Alton Towers

Lovely, small campsite. We stayed here while visiting Alton Towers. It's the perfect quiet spot for some peace after a busy day. Loved the fire pits. Toilets clean. Small park for kids and room to play. Lots of supermarkets just down the road and a hungry horse pub for a cheap dinner. Would use again as a base for going to Alton Towers. Owners friendly and helpful.

Amazing

Absolutely amazing campsite. We weren't expecting much, but when we arrived was seen to straight away by the warden and was surprised how lovely it was. All the special touches. So clean and tidy. We also bought a bag of their wood and fire lighters for just £6 and we had enough for fires every night from the free fire pit they offer too. It really is brilliant and will definitely be back and 💯 recommended. Obviously and stunning views also sunset and sunrise.

Peaceful, well equipped campsite

We stayed for 2 nights in July with our 2 young children. The campsite was very peaceful in a beautiful rural location less than 20 mins away from Alton Towers which was our reason for choosing this campsite. The facilities were well maintained and clean, with the added bonuses of a fridge/freezer, microwave and kettle. There was also a little hut containing books, DVDs and lots of leaflets advertising local attractions. The children loved playing in the little play park and there was plenty of central space for ball games. We would definitely stay again.

Lovely site

Pitches are around the edge but you don't feel hemmed in along a row, as there are lovely wildflowers between each pitch, giving a little privacy.

Amazing weekend!

We had the best weekend staying in Rosewood Bell tent! Normally, I dread what the facilities are like on campsites, but this one was the best I've seen - the toilets/shower/kitchen areas were amazing and very well maintained and looked after, as was the bell tent and grounds itself. The couple running it were amazing throughout and maintained the whole site to a high standard. They came over to check how our stay had been and when they saw us after check in they asked if we needed anything and suggested nice walks/places around the area. Couldn't recommend this place enough and it will definitely be a yearly trip!

A lovely little site. A small park area with facilities. Showers were a fantastic size and plenty hot enough, close to Alton Towers too.

Quiet, friendly & clean campsite!

The campsite had lovely big plots which felt private and not overcrowded. Super friendly and facilities were super clean and enough to accommodate guests!

Lovely, peaceful site

Small, peaceful, well cared for site. Spacious well defined pitches with a feeling of privacy between them. Basic facilities, but all that you need and very well maintained. Well placed for our trips to Alton towers. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Great site with friendly wardens

Site was impeccable, fantastic location and pitches. I wasn't keen on the extras charged for awnings, dogs etc but they must have reasons. That being said the facilities were fantastic and the people on the site were very friendly. Curfew was maintained and regardless of the birthday party, there was no disruption on site. I loved it and would happily visit again.

A lovely find!

A lovely quiet site nestled in the Staffordshire hills, that ticks all my boxes for a great site. There were friendly site wardens, clean toilets and clean, hot showers. Our pitch has electric hook up and some fabulous views. Fire pit seemed to be supplied as standard Have already recommended to family and friends.
