A friendly site with very clean facilities Motorhome - XL Electric Hardstanding Pitches Oct 2023 We found the staff very friendly and the showers and toilets very clean.
It was a pleasant walk on country lanes to Bracklesham Bay and we had lunch at a nice restaurant right on the beach (Billy's). We also walked to East Wittering and had lunch at the Shore Inn (both of these bars were welcoming and very dog friendly!) We also walked along to the sandy beach at West Wittering. We got the bus to Chichester, which is a lovely city with lots of shops & restaurants and, of course, the Cathedral.
We were very unfortunate with the weather and we had torrential rain at some point during each day of our stay. It was so bad that the back of our pitch flooded but luckily being in a motorhome, we stayed dry. I think because it was out of season, the shop sold very little and no fresh milk was available. Although they advertised ice cream & coffees, I assume this is just in high season.

The rain was unusually heavy & prolonged during your stay, normally our underground drainage is sufficient to keep the site well drained, but these conditions were exceptional across the country and we have since installed a new drainage pump to adapt to the changing weather patterns and rapidly remove any surface water across the site. On the plus side, the hardstanding pitch you booked did remain useable at all times despite the weather!
Thank you for your comments about the shop, you are correct about the shop, during winter there is insufficient demand to stock perishable goods but we still stock a good range of non-perishable items and long life groceries including UHT milk, confectionery, biscuits, tinned goods & pasta etc. There are also plenty of village shops, cafes & eateries only a short walk from the campsite. Relaxing stay
VW-Type Campervan - XL Electric Hardstanding Pitches Oct 2023 From the start, the service was great. We had a quick phone call before we had to check in to check our arrival time and give some instructions. The site is clean, tidy and facilities were immaculate. There were friendly staff and informative too.
Our hardstanding pitch was great, an extra having fresh drinking water behind the pitch was not expected but great, especially for the dogs.
We are definitely looking forward to coming back for another visit.

Large Tent - XL Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 A delightful campsite, well set up and run. Extremely kind and helpful staff. Facilities were excellent and clean. Everything has been thought of for the comfort of their guests.
We will definitely recommend to friends and would love to return.

Small Tent - Standard Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 Stubcroft Farm Campsite is a fantastic place. Staff are very friendly and the place is very clean. We had a great stay and we would definitely return!
