Beautiful, well thought-out site

This is a beautiful site, which gives you a real sense of privacy as the pitches are self-contained with plenty of space between them. We loved the covered cooking area; this would provide you with protection if weather is bad, along with the covered washing-up area. The whole area has been carefully thought out: there are fridges, a place to charge up phones plus plenty of pans, plates, cutlery etc. There are some beautiful walks from the site and a golf club which provides food from 12pm. The whole set-up here means you don't need to bring lots of equipment with you. We loved it here!

Unbelievable campervan spot

Campervan spot separate from main campsite. Own shower, toilet, cooking and washing up facilities. Seated area sheltered with fire pit, feels like your not on a campsite. Was there 2 days and never seen any people, brilliant spot.

Amazing campsite

A lovely campsite run by lovely people, I would 100% be returning to willow acers, and would recommended this site to anyone. The en-suite and private kitchen are a great extra to have whilst camping. The campsite is very clean and tidy, and just a beautiful place to stay.

A fabulous campsite

The location of the campsite was beautiful, although the narrow uneven lane to get there was in need of some TLC but didn't cause any trouble. The site was perfect, so well-equipped and well thought out. The flower meadow was past its prime but we could imagine how pretty it would have been in the Summer. There was a communal area for washing up and meeting other campers. Each pitch was large and had its own kitchen hut with gas and hob, table and benches provided together with a small fire pit which we were grateful for as the evenings were a little chilly. The toilet and shower allocated to us was also a bonus and spotlessly clean too. Simon and John were very helpful and suggested that we take a walk about 20 minutes up to the viewpoint which proved to be outstanding, 360 degrees of amazing beauty! We would love to return in the future and would recommend this to everyone, although we enjoyed having almost exclusive use of Willow Acres!

Great place

This is my favorite campsite I've ever been to. The pitch we had was completely private but extremely well equipped and had everything we needed to look after ourselves. The owners were extremely friendly and would come by just to check everything was ok and that we had everything we needed. The water was was hot and because it was private, there was no waiting, The same thing applied to the sink for washing up. The pitch itself had a great view and was so remote, we didn't need to worry about noise. I can't think of any negatives.

Our visit

Really enjoyed our stay here, pitches where big and well spaced apart and having the little kitchen set up as well as the communal fridge and plugs was very helpful. Toilets are quite basic but we had no problem with that and the staff where very friendly. The location was a little distance away from some of the walks in Brecon Beacons however, this wasn't an issue and it was nice to be relatively close to a supermarket and petrol station.

A lovely stay

I had a lovely weekend stay, the site was small and quiet. The facilities were brilliant - each pitch has its own hut (to shelter from the rain) and cooker/pans/dishes, which was very convenient. The site owners were very friendly and helpful. I had a great time and would love to camp here again.

Idyllic

We came at the perfect time of year, I think. The meadow flowers were out and there was lovely birdsong everywhere. The pitches are spaced far apart and a really good size. The meadow means you can't really see the other campers that well, so it's very peaceful. There's a little kitchen covered area for each site, with cute crockery and a gas hob, plus a little table and bench. If it drizzled it would have been great to hang out in the dry (we had beautiful weather though). There's a firepit stocked with some wood. It's prettily decorated with lots of thought. The owners are really friendly and helpful. It would be an amazing place for families as it's car-free. Our dog also loved sunbathing on the grass. Toilets and shower passed my daughter's spider survey and were clean. Altogether, it was beautiful.

Lots of amenities and shelters

It rained a lot so we appreciated the shelters. The shower is hot. Good washing up facilities. The cooking facilities were also good. There is even a sofa to sit on. We were the only campers so it was quiet. There were a lot of children staying during the previous week.

Little haven

Lovely place, and lovely hosts.

Rustic, relaxing & beautiful

I loved this campsite and I've visited many. This is by far my favourite. The hosts are very welcoming. All pitches are well spread out and there is communal space. Ideally situated for Brecon.

This was a really welcoming site. The owners were really nice, genuine Welsh people and a pleasure to meet. There is lots to do nearby. The facilities were good and the covered kitchen area was a real bonus. Would definitely recommend 👌
