Clear filters Good site VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 We had a two night stay at Brunchrew campsite, it was fairly busy for the time of year. Showers and toilets were basic.
Good point was that it had a wagon selling breakfast baps and a range of foods in the evening, like scampi, burgers, fish and chips.

Small Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 This place was amazing, we stayed for 2 nights on our honeymoon with the Campervan as doing part of the nc500.
The place was beautiful, such friendly people and made time to talk to us and congratulate us.
The only thing I would say is the shop could be a bit more stocked as very limited supplies and showers could be cleaned a bit more as standing showering looking at cobwebs and dead insects was a put off for me, however the actual place was stunning.
The guy who has a food trailer on site was such a great guy and is there twice a day providing breakfast and evening meals to the guests. Food was lovely and he was so helpful giving advice about where we should visit. We would definitely go back.

Large A-class or Tag Axle Motorhome - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 Although the setting was great, I do think there should be allocated bays as there was a lot of wasted space with people going where they liked. Also showers could be cleaned more.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 Had an excellent stay at Bunchrew caravan park. We initially booked to stay here in our tent for 2 nights and on the 2nd day extended our stay for a further 2 nights!
Absolutely stunning views of the Firth - literally right on the waters edge! Great little food van there for breakfast and dinner with great options for great value. Lovely little park on site. Excellent location for day trips to Inverness, Loch Ness, Fort William. Great as a beautiful night/ 2 stop to begin the NC500 but equally would have happily spent a whole week here as a standalone holiday. So peaceful, calm and relaxed.
Pot wash, shower and toilet block on site, as well as a little essentials shop.
Only note would be that the toilet/ shower blocks could be due for an upgrade soon - very clean though!

Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 Absolutely the most fantastic spot to camp. Our waterside pitch was more than we could have hoped for. So good in fact, we booked to stay an extra night.
We will definitely stay here again! Absolutely brilliant.

VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 A nice campsite and a good location, with all the essential facilities. There is a burger van there that caters for breakfast, dinner and tea incase you don't or cant cook. The food was nice and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 Really enjoyed our overnight stay. Lovely little site. Toilets were clean, showers excellent, just right temp. Free to pitch wherever. Solar Panels make it renewable friendly. Good "outdoor gym" equipment. Really lovely setting near the water. Very laid back site. We would definitely return.

Really clean, well kept grounds. Bathrooms were kept clean and the showers where lovely.

Not recommended for a long stay, but ok for a stop over VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 Nice location.
I would not recommend the site for any longer than 1-2 nights as a stop over enroute to the North. There are no marked pitches and it was very busy. Facilities are ok for a short stay but needs a new shower block and more facilities for the large number of people who use the site.
On a plus side, the views across the Loch are beautiful.

Pleasant experience
Motorhome - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 It was our first time here. It's really family friendly, quiet, and there is everything needed to have a good time.
It was just 9 minutes from Inverness town centre. It's next to a small hotel and restaurant which is gorgeous, it's a five minute walk or 2 minutes by bike next to the beach.
It's not new, it might need an update, but we still had a really good experience, will be back next year.
