Relaxing
Shepherd's Hut - Shepherd's Hut Jul 2025 There is just the one shepherds hut here so you are guaranteed to get all the peace and quiet you could wish for. It is very well equipped inside and out - clearly a lot of thought has gone into it.
While it is close to the owner's house, it is oriented such that all you see and hear is the sheep and other wildlife in the fields.
Close to Ironbridge so lots of things to do and see nearby.
Tranquil break
Shepherd's Hut - Shepherd's Hut Apr 2025 I had a much needed peaceful break in the Hay & Hedgerow Shepherd's Hut with everything I needed to make my stay comfortable. The location was very handy for access to Bridgnorth and Ironbridge, the perfect balance of sightseeing and relaxation with great weather enabling me to maximise the outside space in the fabulous Shropshire countryside.
The only practical quibble I had was that the fridge was very tiny, my advice would be to plan in advance and take small packages!
Please don't be put off by this if you are looking for a relaxing break - I would definitely stay again as it gave me the tranquillity I needed. Importantly, as a woman staying alone for the majority of my stay, I felt completely safe in this location.
Beautiful scenery and so relaxing
Shepherd's Hut - Shepherd's Hut Dec 2024 Hay & Hedgerow was a beautiful glamping spot, so much so that we've already booked in again for the end of march.
The hut was in reasonable distance to the shopping facilities and different attractions even though we don't drive. We enjoyed listening to nature and exploring the fields, especially seeing all the sheep!
We had the pleasure of running into Melissa during our stay and she's lovely. All the facilities we needed were provided and the hut was so cosy and homelike. The only issue we encountered was the door handle being slightly loose, but that was easily fixed by using the latches on the door and we barely noticed given the luxury of everything else.

Perfect retreat
Shepherd's Hut - Shepherd's Hut Nov 2023 A lovely location, and a Shepherd’s Hut that puts the “glam” into glamping! I wanted somewhere quiet to retreat, read, reflect and rest, and it ticked all the boxes to a tee.
Excellent second visit
Shepherd's Hut - Shepherd's Hut Nov 2023 Our second visit here, and we loved it as much as before. Beautiful autumn walk in forest, meal in Bridgnorth and sat on decking in moonlight with a clear dark sky. Facilities provided everything we needed, spotless and tasteful. Cosy break, 100% recommend.
Perfect escape
Shepherd's Hut - Shepherd's Hut Sep 2022 Beautiful rural spot with lovely views to wake up to. Perfect for a long weekend. Very convenient for Ironbridge & Bridgenorth.
It was quite hard to find but the owner did send some pics of the driveway entrance.
Would definately stay again, the summer would be lovely!
