This tranquil estate is set in the Debatable Lands, a famous and historic area near the Scottish border. Both Gretna Green and Carlisle are in easy driving distance. With lovely views over the border, the secluded treehouse is a sight for sore eyes. Guests receive a welcome hamper of local produce to help them enjoy this cosy nest in the trees, suitable for two adults and two children over seven. There's a well equipped kitchen, balcony with fantastic views and rustic wood burner with cosy furniture inside. The star attraction is, of course, the soothing warmth of a hot tub.

The treehouse is suitable for kids aged seven and up. Unfortunately, dogs cannot stay.
The Border Esk has plenty of salmon and sea trout in the summer. The fishing season is February to October.
You won't need to go far to find beautiful scenery and walks: there are woodland trails across the Netherby Estate that you'll love - which will eventually take you to a swing bridge and charming peel tower. You can also catch salmon for dinner on the River Liddell.
