Overcrowded

The seaside field was ridiculously oversold. We came back to our tent to find people had pitched up within a foot of our tent as there is no organisation. We counted close to 150 tents and only roughly 6 women's showers and toilets which were disgusting by the morning and men's were all blocked. Disappointing as the first night the site was relatively comfortable and not overcrowded. If the pitches were laid out and not a free for all and not over sold, it would be amazing!

Wonderful stay!

The Hollies was the perfect weekend break! Staff were incredibly friendly, plenty of spaces to pitch our tent. Great for first time campers like ourselves. Facilities on site were clean. Location was perfect, beach nearby and plenty of shops. Will definitely be coming back!

Showered was cold first day and then had to go in family shower to get hot shower.

Seaside field camping

Seaside pitch offers loads of space around site. Direct access to the beach. Family shower options were great. Cleaned regularly.

Lovely location and very well managed site

The location was just what we wanted, with direct access to the beach, which was great. The site was perfectly managed with everything you'd expect delivered perfectly. The field was lovely for camping. Showers were hot and the food and coffee trucks were an added bonus.

Family time

We stayed for one night and it was a really great experience! The campsite was clean, quiet, and well-organized. The facilities were in good condition, and the atmosphere was very relaxing. Even though it was a short stay, we felt very comfortable and well taken care of. We would definitely come back and recommend this place to others!

Really fab location

One of the best campsites in East Anglia I think. We stayed in the grass pitches on the beachside field with no electrical hook-up. We were close to the sea and the walks along beach/cliff path were wonderful. We walked all the way to Lowestoft along cliff path (and some main road) and back sailing the beach. Later we walked to Kessi gland along the cliff path and ate n drank in the pub there with a fun live band playing 80s music. Campsite was clean and quiet at night. Plenty of people, no queues and showers were hot. It was great and will go again.

Perfect

Everyone was so nice, very friendly professional staff. Myself and my cousin felt extremely welcome from the moment we stepped into reception. The gentleman cleaning the toilet/shower room was friendly. The facilities were clean. We had an amazing night's stay and we will definitely return, we planned on staying longer next trip. I have already recommend this place to my friends.

Great place and staff team

This is a great place for all types of campers/ holidayers .. Staff amazing helpful and friendly. Facilities immaculately clean, grounds kept neat and tidy. Regular choice of food vans/ street food if you don't fancy cooking .. Lots to see on the beach, in the sea and from the cliff top .. Would recommend.

Kids

Would have been better if parents told their kids not to run across the pitches that are in use, also parents run across the pitches.

Excellent facilities

We enjoyed our stay at the Hollies. The layout is easy to follow. Walked into reception and was greeted with a warm welcome, told what was available at the campsite then the park warden showed us round to our plot. They have a beach at the end of the campsite which is lovely. We also sampled the fish and chips on site, some of the best we have had. Nothing is to far from this site, shops, piers etc. Thank you for our stay.

Excellent campsite

We were warmly welcomed and given all of the useful information we would need. The warden visited within minutes of parking up the campervan. As first time campers my son and I were extremely impressed with the cleanliness of the site. Lovely small kids playground and a perfect mini football pitch. Walking distance to a vast beach with wildlife galore. We will be back.

Lovely location, clean and organised site

Despite wet weather, my children and I had a lovely stay at The Hollies. We were in the seaside field, with easy access to the beach, which is down some (steepish) steps. The picnic tables at the cliff top were a nice touch, giving us somewhere to sit and enjoy the view. The facilities were very clean, with plenty of hot water. The kids liked the little playground area too. The site feels quiet and rural but it's also very easy to get into Lowestoft, which was a bonus during the rain. Plus, the staff were really helpful and friendly, including giving me a jump when we tried to leave and realised the car battery had died!

Good facilities, friendly staff, good location

Off peak so site was very quiet. The facilities were well maintained, spotlessly clean and plenty of hot water. Friendly staff who explained all amenities and opportunities for walks from the site via the adjacent beach.

Great stay, would recommend

Had a 2 night stay over the bank holiday weekend. 4 Adults 2 dogs. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Explained everything clearly. The facilities, toilets and showers were very clean and modern. The site had plenty of facilities, coffee man, fish and chips and a cafe. Great pace for a short stay. We will be back. Only thing missing was a pub.

Friendly staff, good sized pitches, very clean facilities and great location down the beautiful beach

Lovely stay

A more structured campsite than I've been before but could not fault it. You are near main roads taking you to wherever you needed to go. The pitch had good sized tarmac area & grass pitch. The facilities were central to our pitch with everything you need. Clean washing up area, 24hr launderette with very clean toilet & shower facilities. You were right on the beach, but not sure if you have little ones, how accessible it would be as there are lots of steps down to it & the sea was quite a walk out. It was worth the walk as it was very peaceful. Would stay again.

Quick getaway

Couldn't fault the site. We turned up after hours but the site man looked after us superbly, showed us to our plot and explained everything well. The site is extremely clean and so are the facilities. The food van does really good fresh cooked food. We we definitely be booking again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
