Clear filters Beautiful surrounding and great facilities
Jul 2025 Warm welcoming, great facilities and lots of green grass and even a stream.
The facilities are clean and there are plenty of showers and wc cells/cubes as well as positions for washing ones dishes.
It's quiet and relaxing.

Small Tent - Non Electric Fellside Grass Pitches Jul 2025 There are a couple of beautiful hikes that level from the campsite.
Very friendly staff, clean facilities, good catering, convenient little shop.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Fellside Grass Pitches Jul 2025 As a family with a small child, we had a great stay at the Park Cliffe campsite.
The staff members were friendly and helpful. All the amenities were kept nice and clean.
We would definitely stay again.

Small Tent - Non Electric Fellside Grass Pitches Jun 2025 I stayed there by myself and had a great time, the site itself is well spaced and has a lot of privacy for campers.
The facilities are clean and the staff are helpful.
Would definitely stay again!

The pitches are an excellent size. Water tap at the pitch.
Everything is spotless. Very clean and immaculate.
Highly recommend staying here. Will definitely book again.
We took our small dog. Nice walks. Short drive to Bowness.

An amazing experience
Camping Pod - Family Vista Camping Pods Jun 2025 This site was so stunning it left me speechless. The views were beautiful, the pods which we stayed in were clean and great!
The toilets and showers were very clean.
Everything was perfect. We will definitely be coming back and recommend to others!

A fantastic, beautiful site with great facilities
VW-Type Campervan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches May 2025 A lovely site to stay at. We stayed for a couple of nights on the way to Scotland, and while my health didn't allow making the most of what the site has to offer (easy access to Windermere etc), it was a great and well-maintained site. Staff were helpful on entry, showing us to our pitch, and any questions were answered quickly and efficiently. The whole site looks well kept and up together, with everything looking maintained properly. Toilets were clean and disabled toilet and shower worked perfectly (this is not always the case).
The food truck offered good value food when the pub food wasn't available, and the staff were friendly and helpful in the shop.
The pitches are a bit uneven and we didn't bring wedges, so a bit of regrading wouldn't go amiss, but everything else worked and checking in and out was simple and quick.
The printed map given out gives loads of useful information and the Wi-Fi works well on site. The only criticism I have of the map is that it could be clearer in terms of entry/exit for orientation of where you are when you enter (and I'm a decent map reader). Clear instructions to avoid a difficult road entry (it would be a sharp dog-leg if approaching from the north) are also given via email beforehand but I think they could do with a bit more detail and a final zoom or details on the junction you do have to take (with GPS coordinates) as '3.6 miles from a roundabout' isn't a great help.
But overall, what a lovely, scenic, well kept place. I think the lawnmower guy was a bit over-zealous (as he re-did the grass next to us at least 3 times in a row), but I guess that's the price of the place being so neat and tidy - and it really is. Looks brand new in many respects!

Most of our touring pitches are pretty level so we'll have a closer look at the one you stayed on. If you visit again, please do ask our team as they are always happy to assist with levelling. We're not a vast site so hope you quickly found your bearings.
