Large Tent - Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) May 2025 This was a really lovely site to stay at with friends. Great location, space for the children to play safely. A really tasty food truck and super helpful staff. We will definitely be back!

Brilliant site
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Apr 2025 Brilliant site with plenty of space. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Very peaceful, lots of walks.
The nearby village is only a 10 minute walk and the pub really good for other food and drinks. The site does get very booked up in holiday time.
Lovely campsite
Large Tent - Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Apr 2025 Lovely campsite lovely owner, very helpful with supplying a lead extension for the electric hook up.
A few dogs that were off the leads and running around, which is more to do with the dog owners rather than the campsite owner. Overall, a great place and will be back.

VW-Type Campervan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Apr 2025 It is right on our doorstep and perfect for the 1 night bringing the grandchildren.
Lovely site, booked last minute to bring the grandchildren just for the night. Very safe for the children to run free and good facilities. Snack wagon was great for breakfast.

Motorhome - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Apr 2025 Had a great stay, large spacious site. Great location for lovely canal side walks. Short walk to two pubs. The onsite snack shack is a fab addition. Good facilities.
Busy weekend but plenty of open space. Some road noise but feels like you're out in the countryside otherwise. Will revisit.
Wonderful stay
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Feb 2025 Just bought our first motorhome (after renting for years) so wanted a little away time to find out what was needed and learn about our new home from home. The site was close enough to home to travel back easily if any issues, but far enough away to relax.
We found the site wonderful, plenty of space, clean and staff very helpful. The food shack was certainly popular! Shower and toilet facilities great and located well. Had everything we needed and more. Because it is so close to home, we may not visit again, but will certainly recommend to friends.

Bell Tent - Plus Deluxe Lotus Belle Tent with Round Hot Tub (Dog Friendly) Feb 2025 Excellent value for money and very helpful staff. The shower block and toilets were very clean and tidy. The hot tub was spot on, an excellent stay.

Convenient site and nice owner
Single Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Feb 2025 Tara was lovely from before arrival giving me clear directions in when towing, to when I left and very kindly helped me out the narrow entrance - thank you so much.
Only reason for not rating as 5 throughout was due to a cold shower this morning, no matter what i did in the lovely shower block, i could not get the shower to heat up.
The location was great for a 1 night stopover when travelling North.

Glamping Pod - Plus Glamping Pods with Hot Tubs (Dog Friendly) Dec 2024 We stayed for one night and had a fantastic time. Hot tub was lovely and warm when we arrived, as was the glamping pod. Fridge sink and microwave where plenty for what you needed. We are 100% going to book again later in the year when hopefully the weather will be better

Large Tent - Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Dec 2024 We had an absolutely amazing time here. The staff were so lovely and welcoming and the facilities were beautiful, the weather could have been better, lol.
I would definitely recommend to anyone and everyone, such a perfect place to spend time and make memories.
Lovely night away
Camping Pod - Plus Glamping Pods with Hot Tubs (Dog Friendly) Nov 2024 We booked this glamping pod for a night away as a family. We had been sent a text previous to our arrival to say what pod we were staying in, post code etc. and the hot tub was warming up.
We arrived on a very windy and wet day but the location is fab, it feels remote without being too remote. Hot tub was lovely, they did come and top up the wood stove to keep it warm for us as well. We all slept great and the toilet and shower facilities were in great condition too.

Fantastic place to stay
Bell Tent - Lotus Belle Tents (Dog Friendly) Sep 2024 My two sons and I stayed for two nights so we could visit BSB at Donnington.
Everything here was clean, tidy, functional and warm as a heater was supplied along with a fridge and kettle in our Lotus Belle tent. As bikers, we did not expect the facilities to be as comfortable and inviting as they were. Our bikes were parked safely near our tent and the lady who oversaw the site was always friendly and smiling. The toilet and shower facilities were always clean and easy access.
What else can I say, but will be back the next time we visit Donnington race track.
Nice Campsite
Medium Tent - Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Sep 2024 Some people were very noisy, even after midnight until 2am or 3am, that made us not sleep well.
One of my friends was trying to tell these people that they were too noisy and to please keep the voice down. However, they were still talking as normal until 3am. Eventually my friend left the campsite and drove back home.
Lovely clean site
Single Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Sep 2024 A lovely site, not too big. Even though we stayed in our own caravan, the huts & tepees with hot tubs looked amazing. It's a site for caravans/motorhomes, amazing. Very spacious and loved that there are fully serviced pitches.
Things to make the stay a bit better: more toilets & showers in the block, a small shop on site would be good and a map of the site/area could be beneficial

Good basic site for a stay
Medium Tent - Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Sep 2024 I enjoyed my stay here. It's a well kept site with good, basic facilities. Most of my stay was lovely and quiet, being during the week in term time. The Friday got a lot busier but there was still space.
The only problem I had was the lights in the toilet block are motion sensitive and the detector doesn't cover the showers, so I was plunged into darkness and had to open the door to get the lights back on. I guess this would not have been a problem if there were other people in the building. Otherwise it was clean, and well maintained. Very convenient for Derby and its surroundings.

Camping Pod - Standard Glamping Pods with Hot Tubs (Dog Friendly) Aug 2024 Absolutely fabulous site. Lovely staff, really accommodating. Hot tub amazing, more than enough wood supplied to keep you going your entire stay, was already heated and waiting for us to get in as soon as we arrived. Definitely will be returning.
