Medium Tent - Non Electric Rookery Grass Tent Pitches Jun 2026 A beautiful area. If you want to stay with the tent you have a beautiful shade from the trees. Cleaning the bathroom. Washing machine and place where you can wash dishes with super hot water. I will definitely be back.

Perfect location and views
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Sea View Grass Campervan Pitches Jun 2026 Perfect location and views, busy car park and not so great showers. Stayed in the sea view pitches and what a location- views and walks of dreams!
Downside was the location of the very public Durdle Door car park - yes, we were warned that it can be busy but on research, we thought it would be a quiet evening once the car park closed at 9pm. Thing is the car park does not close! Cars were rocking up full of teens and / or men late into the evening. Music blasting, wheel spinning on the gravel car park. Not the worse thing to be around but not ideal when you're after a relaxing and calm weekend. So be prepared!
And then the facilities, there is a toilet block at the end of the sea view pitches, but this is the public toilet block and as it's a very popular spot, it does get very dirty!
The shower and toilet block on the campsite is old and not the cleanest. It's ok for a quick swill but nowhere near ideal if you're looking for a real wash. Showers switched between low pressure and very hot. Floors were rather dirty - ensure you take flip flops for the showers.

Showers and toilets all good and handy shop with all sorts. Bar and restaurant on site too. Location perfect absolutely beautiful will defo be back 10/10

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Sea View Grass Campervan Pitches Jun 2026 2 nights in van. Very friendly & professional staff. Food was great in the Man o war pub/restaurant. Can't fault anything. It was blowing a hooley which made the stay a little exciting. We used this campsite as we had tickets for the outdoor cinema.
As above, lovely stay, great sea views. Only downside, the public toilets on cliff were in a poor state.

The shower block & toilets requiring a code were very clean, however, the public toilets were very messy & quite disgusting. It's a shame the general public don't have more respect.
May be a small fee to use them would discourage this & the cost could go towards paying a cleaner a couple of times a day.

There is a public car park near the camping pitches, which gets busy with tourists. But if you face your van away from the car park you don’t really hear anything.
Site itself is lovely and relaxing. Great for anyone wanting to get away for a bit and it’s great value for money.
Our experience of Durdle Door in a motorhome
Motorhome - Premium Abbeyfield Electric Hardstanding Touring Pitches May 2026 We enjoyed staying there and will use the site again. Site WiFi poor but mobile signal good enough. We found site staff friendly and as helpful as you could wish for. The scenery around the site is exceptional.
Great site with small woodland walk to the beach
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Sea View Grass Campervan Pitches May 2026 Stayed here for 2 sunny days in May - excellent location just a few mins from durdle door. Small woodland walk takes you down to the beaches which you can enjoy in a bit more peace outside of the daily visitors.
