Clear filters Clean and spacious
Large Tent - Small Electric Grass Pitches (Sandy Acres) Aug 2022 Good location for North Norfolk tourist spots. The road just next to the site proved noisy at times. Clean showers and hot water were welcome after days out.

Great time had by all
Large Tent - Small Electric Grass Pitches (Sandy Acres) Aug 2022 We stayed here for 5 nights and was great- not a single problem really apart from the shop opening times. Are 9.30-3, so could do with being open slightly earlier and open till later, but other than that it was perfect. I know the fish and chip guys are seprate but it was amazing fish and chips, one of the best I have had and loved they had watering holes for the dogs- is a nice touch.

Nice and clean site Large Tent - Small Electric Grass Pitches (Sandy Acres) Aug 2022 The park is nice and clean and the facilities are great.
Our stay was very hot and windy, and with the sandy soil, made for a dusty stay. The ground is what it is, so no complaints, just something to consider.
My only criticisms are that the pitches were allocated, but I would prefer to have had a choice of available pitches. I'm sure if we'd have asked for a different pitch it would have been fine, but I don't see why you can't just select on arrival. I would say there is limited open grass area for the kids to run around, but that's just what we prefer.
Also, the main road is right next to the site and can be busy.

Unfortunately, due to the lack or non-existence of any rain, the whole park is dry and dusty. If you would like a certain pitch next time you book, please ask and if this is available we can allocate it to you.

Excellent campsite- so well run!
Large Tent - Small Electric Grass Pitches (Sandy Acres) Aug 2022 We stayed Pinecones for a week camping in a large pitch with electric hook up. The pitch was perfect, large and flat. The electric hook up very easily accessible.
When we arrived and checked, in the staff were so friendly and so informative. Easy to understand map, free WiFi and laminated sheets for you to explore walks in the local area and QR codes for you to scan to get it on your phone. Great little shop on site for all necessities including electric hook up if you'd forgotten your own, gas canisters for the burners, food, ice cream, cereal, you name it! All at a very reasonable price. The toilets were central to the campsite where the tents and caravans are and another block is situated by the statics and pods. Both blocks were cleaned at least twice a day, always clean. There was a slight drain smell occasionally but understandable with the amount of people using them. Music on in the toilet blocks which I thought was great!
The site is so well run, staff always on hand to help. They had a rule of quiet outside from 8pm and everyone in your tents/caravans being quiet from 11pm. This was monitored strictly with staff on patrol. I thought this was great. Meant we never had any loud people outside after 11pm. We have a 3yr old so it worked well for us. Such a nice chilled atmosphere. Loved it and would definitely recommend.

We do our best to monitor the noise level on site especially this time of year when the site is full of children, as they need their sleep to be able to continue to enjoy their holiday.

Great site
Large Tent - Small Electric Grass Pitches (Sandy Acres) Jul 2022 Great site on the edge of Dersingham, which has a great frequent bus service around the area. Many walks straight from the site, some which have been printed out available from reception or via QR codes. At the back of the site is a conservation area over which the sun sets. Simply stunning on a sunny evening.

Large Tent - Small Electric Grass Pitches (Sandy Acres) Jul 2022 Really enjoyed our stay. The site is busy, but still feels nice.The facilities are as good as any site we have stayed on. Playground was great for our two. The position allowed access to most places, but did feel a little out of any village etc.

Nice campsite, good location
Medium Tent - Small Electric Grass Pitches (Sandy Acres) Jul 2022 Nice location, short drive to most places and some good walks out of the campsite, couple of pubs & co-op only 15 mins way on foot. Facilities in good condition and maintained well. It was quite busy over the course of the weekend, but you never felt squashed in despite how close a lot of the pitches are. You get quite a lot of space within your own pitch area. Really good food available and the toilet/shower blocks are good with a separate area for washing up and laundry etc.

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Grass Fully Serviced (Pine Views) Jul 2022 Our stay was lovely. Excellent service and amenities. Easy to get to. Excellent access. Lovely country walks. Bathrooms and showers were excellent, clean and warm. Showers with hot and cold water. Wi-fi worked O.K.
The camping spot was spacious with a picnic table. Hook up good. Very reasonable price.
Will return again and again!
