Clear filters Wonderful campsite
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Jul 2025 This was our first time camping at Orcaber and my partners 10 year old daughters first time camping full stop. The facilities are excellent, clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to assist where needed. We only went for 1 night to give said 10 year old a taste of camping, she absolutely loved it and I think that was in part due to the lovely campsite.
Clean and picturesque!
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Jul 2025 We arrived for a one night stopover whilst we explored Malham cove and the other beautiful walks and landscapes in this part of the country and we were actually upset that we couldn’t stay longer. The site itself was picturesque, with the sheep and horses being heard (and seen) over the walls that surround the site! There were picnic benches all over the place that could be used and moved closer if needed and I saw that fire pits were also available to hire (We didn’t as it was raining so we thought we may be wasting our time). The shop stocked almost everything you could need, from camping essentials, to food and drink and lots of kids toys and entertainment!
We weren’t able to visit the river or walk that’s alongside the site but we overheard people expressing how much their kids enjoyed it down there.
Lastly, the toilets and showers were perfect! They were clean and spacious and even had the radio on during the day which made it feel less awkward when I quietly applied my make up next to three other guests doing the same!

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Jun 2025 Stayed for 2 nights and have to say wow, the site was so clean, lots of pitches for electric and non electric.
Shop on site with all the essentials you would need the shower/ toilet blocks very central for all pitches and cleanliness second to none, would highly recommend this site to everyone.
Not too far from lots of attractions and an information room on site with lots of ideas, very quiet will be returning.

Friendly staff, great facilities, the shop was reasonably priced too. The 360 surrounding views are stunning. It was great to have a fire pit as part of our experience.
Would book again.

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Jun 2025 We stayed for 3 nights on the 1st June and we were very impressed with the site.
The staff are very friendly and the facilities are unbelievable clean. The location is amazing, we had a nice walk to the new inn pub in Clapham
We would definitely be returning in the near future.
Perfect base to hike Yorkshire Dales
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches May 2025 No fuss check in. Excellent facilities - best showers ever at a campsite. Absolutely pristine toilet block. Well stocked shop, free use of own fire pit and cheap logs available to buy and delivered to the tent. Lots of families - camping as I remember it as a child.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches May 2025 Brilliant hospitality, sparkling facilities, in a wonderful location with gorgeous views from the campsite and a 15 minute drive to lots of gorgeous Yorkshire towns.

Excellent
Single Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches May 2025 Excellent site. Spacious pitches, stunning location, the showers are amazing, best we have ever used, you don't mind paying 50p for a shower when you can regulate the heat and a power shower.
Only 2 little niggles, 1 there was a pile of dog mess on the grass behind our water tap, and the site really needs to stress to parents to keep a closer eye on their children. It was very busy first 2 days due to it being bank holiday weekend, there were children running in and out of the toilet block, kicking and banging the doors, running taps and at one point, one of them trapped their fingers.
I have children and grandchildren, we know what they can be like, but it would have made the first couple of days better.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Apr 2025 Nice clean site with a very large camping field. Enjoyed our stay, apart from the wind. Site is windy in some places but not so much in others.
Would stay again but pitch in area away from wind.
Large, clean lovely site
Trailer Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Apr 2025 Brilliant site, on site shop, very clean showers and loos. Pitch where you like on non electric, people pitch around the edges and not so much in the middle. With that being, said we did find people squeezing in close rather than using the space in the middle.
Neighbours went out for the day and came back to someone pitching where their car was parked. Not the site's fault, that's just camper etiquette.
Lovely views, river close by to take kids to fish for tiddlers. Does get windy. Good value, stayed for 4 nights and will go back 👍

Location is beautiful, staff are really welcoming and friendly, and the cleanliness is second to none. Shower/toilet block was the cleanest I've ever seen any campsite.

Twin Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches Nov 2024 We arrived under the cover of darkness, rang the number at reception and within moments Reece arrived to sign us in. Quick, informative and polite.
We awoke to beautiful scenery, it was a quiet friendly site with the best and cleanest facilities. Lovely walks, there was plenty to see near by, I shall definitely be returning.

Single Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches Nov 2024 Booked for one 'in transit' night, but we liked it so much, we stayed for two nights. We saw Settle and the numerous lovely shops in Kirby Lonsdale an absolute pleasure. We had a little detour through the Yorkshire Dales on the way back via, Ribblehead Viaduct, a treat. 👍
