A wonderful escape
Camping Pod - Ensuite Glamping Pod (Dog Friendly) May 2024 Wow, what a fabulous couple of days. Stunning location, so peaceful, yet accessible to the wider Lake District.
Perfect for our little family and dog.
A cooling dip in the river, then listening to the birdsong (including cuckoo!), while sitting by the Kadai firepit were just perfect.
The pod was surprisingly spacious, with comfy bed and wet room.
George was very welcoming and helpful, all in all a refreshing and relaxing break. Look forward to our next visit.

Reconnect with old friends for walking and swimming
Camping Pod - Ensuite Glamping Pods May 2024 We were able to walk straight from the pod and into stunning landscape. Loved doing yoga on our deck in the early morning sunshine whilst taking in the magnificent views, listening to the cuckoo and the bleating lambs! We also enjoyed being able to nip down to the the river for a cooling-off dip and then later gather around our fire pit for later supper, a glass of fizz and a bit of star gazing. A perfect long weekend getaway! Pod was very clean, well presented and comfortable. The only thing we would have liked is a bit more toilet roll - 1 small roll for three adults over two nights wasn't really enough!

Thanks for such a positive review. So glad you loved the landscape and managed a dip in the river, as well as finding the pod a great place to stay. As it is self-catering we provide a few essentials to get you started but we do expect guests to bring their own supplies.

The idyllic location
Camping Pod - Ensuite Glamping Pods Apr 2024 Great pods, set in a perfectly peaceful location, surrounded by stunning countryside.
The pods are well equipped, clean, warm and have everything you need. Great location too!
Would definitely recommend.

Warm and cosy
Camping Pod - Ensuite Glamping Pod (Dog Friendly) Apr 2024 Such a lovely pod, very clean with great facilities.
Hooks would be handy! The underfloor heating was fabulous. We used the pod as a base, then would return and relax and enjoy the views. Would definitely recommend and return.

Beautiful
Camping Pod - Ensuite Glamping Pod (Dog Friendly) Sep 2023 Second stay this year in the Pod. Very clean and tidy. Fantastic location. Highly recommend. Fantastic views and walks. Village of Staveley is one mile away.
