Medium Tent - Large Overflow Field Pitches (Field 2) Aug 2022 Best campsite I've been on!
Great facilities and really friendly staff.
Everywhere is so clean and everything is very well organised.
Good weekend but poor toilets
Large Tent - Family Playground Field Non Electric Pitches (Field 4) Aug 2022 The facilities were great in that there were food services, bar services etc but the fast food (burger & chips stand) was ridiculously slow. She just could not cope with the amount of people and cooked on demand, which I felt didn't work. The pizza service was brilliant and very well organised.
The toilet and shower facilities were a bit messy, and smelly. The toilets were blocked, ran out of toilet roll and hot water for showers and pit washing also ran out. Not enough showers to meet demand, with long queues and then no white water. My children had a lukewarm shower only once. This could do with improvement.
The water pressure at the drinking water taps also dropped because of the demand. The toilets never smelled clean and of cleaning products, though staff were in there quite a bit.
The bands and entertainment was excellent. The security could have done better at controlling the few people who forgot they were on a family camp site, not at Glastonbury at 2am.
Apart from the toilets, showers, cleanliness and hot water issue everything else was great.
Our stay
Small Tent - Large Overflow Field Pitches (Field 2) Aug 2022 It was our first visit to Barn Farm. Really enjoyed our stay this weekend. Great staff and always helpful.The only thing that I think should be improved is a bigger catering trailer as waiting for food took over half an hour, the food was good quality and friendly staff. I'm sure we will visit again next year.

Large Tent - Large Overflow Field Pitches (Field 2) Aug 2022 Absolutely fantastic campsite. The additional extras included as part of the bank holiday weekend were exceptional. From live bands to wood fired pizzas and the very lovely staff at the hot food van.
This place goes from strength to strength each year we come.
Superb location and facilities
Medium Tent - Large Overflow Field Pitches (Field 2) Aug 2022 It's the third (and best) time we have stayed here in a group. The campsite is well organised and the facilities are clean and regularly maintained. The site is somewhat hilly so you have to be thoughtful when orienting your tent, but the views are amazing and the access to the moors for lovely walks and scenery is on your doorstep. Despite it being a BH weekend they don't overbook the fields, so there's plenty room. Perfect location.
Fantastic Bank Holiday Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches (Field 1) Aug 2022 We have been here several times. We particularly like the August Bank Holiday as there is lots to do. Bouncy castles, birds of prey, bands, bar, catering vans etc. It is a really nice atmosphere. Toilets and showers are very good.
The only negative about the weekend is some of the other campers who disregard the no noise policy after 10.30pm.

A good set-up for children, not the most relaxing for adults Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches (Field 1) Aug 2022 We stayed in high summer and it was very popular with big family groups and young kids. It had a "festival" vibe and was pretty lively.
They had visiting butty, coffee and pizza vans. The toilets were clean and the basic facilities were good. The shop was a bit disappointing as many campsite shops nowadays stock nice local produce, and this one doesn't.
I thought the opening times were also erratic.
The village itself is beautiful with walks starting directly from the campsite, and the food at the Red Lion was brilliant. It may be more peaceful at other times of the year but for those wanting a quiet countryside stay, this probably isn't it. Overall not for us, but great for many I'm sure.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Touring Pitches Aug 2022 Lovely family park, the bank holiday entertainment was wonderful. Super facilities and very clean and tidy. We would definitely go back :-)
Perfect Peak experience
Medium Tent - Family Playground Field Non Electric Pitches (Field 4) Aug 2022 We've been visiting Barn Farm for years. It's in an excellent location and has all the facilities you could wish for - whether you're an old hand or whether you're new to camping. We thought reception staff could be more welcoming, but the campsite as a whole is well looked after. We had a great time!

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches (Field 1) Aug 2022 This is our first time camping and we have had a great experience. We found the facilities here are clean and the shower room is open 24 hours. Highly recommend, especially for the beginner.

Lovely site
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches (Field 1) Aug 2022 Stayed for 5 nights with a 4 year old. Lovely site, plenty to do on site, games room, park outdoor games for children, shop, washing machine, fridge and freezers and even a sunbed to use. Lovely and clean toilets, showers and pot washing areas cleaned regularly. Plenty of local walks, 2 pubs within walking distance. Little one loved the peacocks and alpacas too.Will definitely be returning.

The location was brilliant
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Touring Pitches Aug 2022 The location was brilliant and all the facilities were clean, as was the site. Our only issue was that we stayed on the first field as you enter the site and it was a real distance for the toilet with young kids. Also, on the wall near the washing up area, a light kept flashing all night and was really annoying when you tried to sit and relax. Apart from that, it was a brilliant site and we will definitely be back.
Beautiful place to stay
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Aug 2022 Such a clean and well maintained site, spectacular views all around. Spacious pitches with your own water tap. Lovely and quiet at night time. Friendly staff who are very helpful, including the security chap who was lovely to talk to and gave us some very helpful directions. We had a great time and look forward to going back.

A great weekend
Large Tent - Family Playground Field Non Electric Pitches (Field 4) Aug 2022 We had a great 3 night stay. Views are amazing and the walks are so close. The site was extremely friendly and with 4 children, we found it really safe.
The only downside was the large group around us allowing their dog to roam free, meaning we had dog mess by our tents which we had to clean. This didn't ruin the weekend though and the 15 of us had a fab time.
The local pubs are both very friendly and the carvery at the Red Lion is beautiful.
Lovely well maintained campsite with good facilities
Medium Tent - Family Playground Field Non Electric Pitches (Field 4) Aug 2022 We thought Barn Farm was a lovely site - we chose it as we were able to book as a group of families with young children.
The playground field was perfect for us - the children could play and it was safe as there weren't cars driving through all the time. The children enjoyed the resident peacocks and the games room too. There were other groups on the field, but it was a little crowded and it was quiet at night (apart from the peacocks in the morning!). We would definitely return to this site again.

Two nights in August
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches (Field 1) Aug 2022 Second time we have stayed. Great site for kids. Had a issue with dogs off leads running around the field, which the kids didn't appreciate.
Showers and toilets are clean. Will be back next year definitely. Thanks.
