Very pleasant
Large Tent - Valley Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 Nice campsite, ideal for young families. Convenient location for some nice beaches (Woolacombe is a 20 minute drive away).
Overall good
VW-Type Campervan - Ocean View Non Electric Grass Pitches (Open Plan) Aug 2023 We had a beautiful view over the campsite and of the sea as we were up in the open plan area, however, this is a steep hill which was hard to find a flat surface on and affected our sleep as kept sliding down.
The facilities are all at the bottom of the hill, which was excellent exercise, but might be an issue for those less mobile. There could be more toilets without showers in them.
Love that there is a food hut on site if you didn't want to cook, with really nice looking food and that there are some activities if you had children.
The dog exercise area was great and very near us and any park that caters for dogs is good for us.
We would consider this again, but maybe off season where there might be a flatter bit.
It seemed very chilled and it was a real bonus that they were set up for late arrivals, we just picked up a map with our name on it from the reception. This was very easy, thanks.

Medium Tent - Ocean View Non Electric Grass Pitches (Open Plan) Jul 2023 We had a fabulous time here and cannot wait to stay again soon!
Set in an excellent location, with a lovely sea view. Our pitch was spacious and the facilities were great.
The staff were so friendly and let us stay for an extra night, because we could no longer make the first night we'd planned to stay - which was brilliant, really reasonably priced as well!
Our kids loved the play area, goats and being able to walk to such a beautiful beach was amazing. It's a great location and we walked to the Watermouth theme park (so a fun, if a little kooky place) and for food at a tasty place next door (which had a pool, play area and a soft play which was fantastic!)
We couldn't rate our stay any more highly and were sad to leave! Only slight improvement would be to put some matting down on the grass for the ocean view pitches as the entrance was very muddy due to a lot of rain and made it difficult (and muddy) to get through the gate. But only minor as once the mud dried there wasn't a big issue.
Would recommend for all.
I wish all camping grounds were like this

The toilet and shower block were spotless and the best I have seen. The had food on every evening (apart from Thursday) and it was delicious.
