Excellent campsite
Single Axle Caravan - Semi Serviced Hardstanding Pitches (Medium) Feb 2024 This was our first caravan stay and an ideal site. Facilities were clean and well maintained and staff were friendly.

VW-Type Campervan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches (Medium) Jan 2024 Lovely campsite. So clean and the toilets are immaculate! Good communication prior to arrival and lovely pitch for our van when we arrived. The added bonus of fresh milkshakes and orange juice in the mornings was amazing! We already can't wait to rebook.

Well run site in a great location
Motorhome - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches (Medium) Jan 2024 Good facilities kept spotless. Pitches reasonably spaced, so didn't feel crowded. Adjacent to dog walking field, access to railway path to Abbotsbury and multiple walking routes.

Quality site
Motorhome - Semi Serviced Hardstanding Pitches (Medium) Dec 2023 This site had everything that we needed.
Clean shower and toilet block. The staff were all so cheerful and helpful. Location was perfect for local scenic points.
Will definitely be returning.

Christmas at Portesham Dairy Farm Campsite
VW-Type Campervan - Semi Serviced Hardstanding Pitches (Medium) Dec 2023 A fantastic stay at Portesham Dairy Farm Campsite for Christmas.
A very secure site with immaculate facilities, friendly reception staff and no problem on arrival being directed to our pitch. The toilets, shower block and washrooms are spotless with instant hot water for cleaning.
Great location with a dog friendly pub (Kings Arms) just a couple of hundred metres away (very good food). The site also has a well stocked vending area for fresh milk etc.
Would certainly recommend this site as a base to explore Dorset.

Really lovely site
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Semi Serviced Hardstanding Pitches (Medium) Dec 2023 Stopped in Portesham for a night while driving to see family for Christmas.
The site was so easy to access and find our plot, so it didn't matter we arrived late evening. Toilet facilities were exceptionally clean and modern.
Lovely little village and a nice walk for the dogs straight out of the site. Extra nice touch with coffee and vending machines at the front of the site, so we could get drinks before hitting the road.
Staff were really friendly. Finally, super easy to just drive out the next morning and be on our way.
Overall lovely site with clean and modern toilet and shower facilities. Would recommend and will likely visit again ourselves.

First time camping
VW-Type Campervan - Semi Serviced Hardstanding Pitches (Medium) Dec 2023 My first camping trip in a new van and I had a great stay.
The staff were great and on hand for any of my novice questions. The site was quiet and clean. There are great walks directly from the site, which are well suited to dog owners. The dog walking field on site is large and a great addition.
The Kings Arms pub is close by. I recommend booking online, as they get very busy.
Looking forward to returning soon.

A pleasant stay
Motorhome - Semi Serviced Hardstanding Pitches (Medium) Nov 2023 Pleasantly surprised on arrival at the warm welcome at reception and interacting with the cleaning crew. This is the first time I have used a private club site as was a member of CAMC for over 20 years. You cannot fault the cleanliness of the site and the range of facilities on offer.
Vending machines are situated opposite reception and I felt that if I had arrived at the site late at night with no provisions at all, I could have bought drinks, dinner and breakfast! Fresh milk on tap too! There are also provisions in the shop that are open during reception hours. Loos and showers were good clean and warm areas. A big fenced dog walking field is available. There's even a dog washing tap by the motorhome grey waste area!
Will return as it was a convenient stop over site.
