VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2026 A wonderful campsite.
We arrived in our campervan early evening, and our welcome from all the staff was super friendly and helpful, despite the fact that it was hot day in the middle of the early July heatwave and the they must have been working all day - we felt like their first guests.
The site was exactly what we wanted. And we loved the fact that you can choose your own spot, as long as you keep at least 6m from others - great.
Lots of ponies wandering around. It felt like wild camping, but with nice facilities!
Easy to book and we were kept informed with emails nearer the date of our stay.
Thank you for the fab welcome on our first visit...we will be back...very soon!

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2026 In a snapshot this was a really lovely, weekend break.
The facilities were clean and had everything we could needed. Ice and ice cream as it was super hot! Great showers, toilets and cleaning stations. Honestly can’t fault it.
We set near the far edge and we have a lovely walk through the flats:grassy bit on an old road.
We love staying in the new Forrest as it’s so peaceful and we will definitely visit this campsite before!

VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2026 Only stayed for one night. Took my daughter, just her and I. Totally enjoyed our stay. Couldn’t see how they could have made it any better. Great location, value for money and clean and tidy. Would definitely stay again 👍🏼

Idyllic setting
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2026 Beautiful site with wild ponies and cattle wandering about, direct access to New Forest.
Footpaths to Brockenhurst and surrounding area from the site, really stunning. So many campers but with the trees and gorse bushes, you had unique areas to pitch.
The site did not have enough toilets and showers. Therefore, they quickly became unpleasant with the heavy usage. Not enough washing up areas for campers meant small queues and no privacy sinks for washing, teeth cleaning.
For such a big site that wasn't cheap, it was a real shame. The staff were polite and helpful but the facilities let it down. I would hope this lovely venue could improve its facilities as it's a very special place.

VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2026 I definitely would have made use of a larger on site shop as we had forgotten a few items. The location is beautiful and very quiet. We only live an hour away but just wanted a quiet couple of days which we had.

With ponies wandering past your tent during the day, surrounded by the beauty of the forest and numerous walking and cycling trails. Within a short drive from some iconic New Forest towns and villages.

Amazing Campsite
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2026 Perfect campsite for what we wanted - to be surrounded by trees and with ponies wandering right by our tent. Quiet and peaceful and in a great location for walking and cycling.

As always at campsites though, there are people who can't follow the rules and someone near us lost control of their dog who was off lead the whole time. Shame, when there is lovely livestock. It was very, very clean, I just wish they would ban smoking at campsites as I hate seeing cigarette buts on the floors.
Will definitely come back again, lots of areas to choose from though in the rain they can and do flood which isn't a problem as it soon clears away when the sun comes out. Value for money, it's the best campsite I've ever been to.
Beautifully kept camping with amazing wildlife on site
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2026 Wow. What a beautiful campsite, and the visiting wildlife overnight and daytime was incredible. So many horses, donkeys and cows came to say hello, even though we had our dogs next to van.
Lovely cycling around the camp and pretty countryside. Near to other sightseeing spots too. Highly recommend.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2026 We loved our stay from start too finish. Seeing the ponies was magical, plus easy access to cycle paths was great. The camp site was well set up so you could choose where to camp (loads of choice) but always close to amenities.

Motorhome - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2026 Everything about this site was amazing! Reception staff welcoming and friendly. Location gorgeous in amongst the wild ponies. Lots of space and idyllic surroundings in the heart of the New Forest. Toilet/shower facilities extremely clean and lots of recycling and rubbish bins.
Great place to camp
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2026 Had a lovely stay at this campsite, everything was lovely.
The only issue was noisy neighbours either side of us, one kept slamming a horse lorry door, the other making stupid noises until 1am whilst obviously drinking with his mates, but that's campsites for you. Could have moved somewhere else on site but too much hassle.
Other than that, brilliant time and nice weather.
