Roof Tent - Large Electric Grass PitchesSep 2026

Handy for main road access to SE Wales, Herefordshire and the Wye Valley but still secluded enough to feel peaceful. Nice pitches on a lovely site with great clean facilities. Limited shop and range of food available but really excellent fresh pizzas cooked on site. Friendly helpful staff.

Thank you for the great review. We look forward to welcoming you back soon. Kind regards The Haywood Farm Team

Large Tent - Large Electric Grass PitchesAug 2026

We came for a 3 night stay during the last week of August with our children. Unfortunately the weather wasn't kind to us however the games room gave the kids something indoors to do, including arts and crafts daily. The outdoor play area is great for all ages and includes slides, swings and sandpit, and there is a large area with goalposts to play football. The pitch sizes are generous, and flat, and big enough for our tent and gazebo. Given the extensive dry weather this summer, BBQs were understandably not permitted however the tasty pizzas that are cooked onsite made up for it. The facilities were clean and tidy. The shower rooms are a good size giving plenty of space to shower and get dressed. Each shower room has its own sink and mirror and stool. Plenty of sink space for washing pots up, and lots of fridge and freezer space too. Most importantly all of the staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be returning, hopefully when it isn't torrential rain so we can fully enjoy the outside space this site offers.

Medium Tent - Electric Grass PitchesAug 2026

Great location near Forest of Dean and next to a patch of forest managed by forestry England. Only downside is proximity to M50 but if you don't mind hearing motorway noises in the distance, it's a non-issue. The place is very family oriented so great for kids. Quiet at night.

Site's response

We are pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay. We hope to see you again soon. Regards The Haywood Farm Team
