Electric grass tent pitch

This is a lovely little caravan and camping site. The location is perfect. Right in-between the mountains and the sea. The toilets and showers were very clean. Shower was nice and hot and no having to keep pressing the button for the water to stay on. The pitch was really spacious. Nice quiet little site. Owners live on site and are very welcoming and friendly. Didn't want to come home. Will definitely return 😁

Lovely site and staff

Place is lovely group of 8 of us went all said how nice it was when we went in. Showers and toilet facilities clean and tidy and enough for the size of the site. Customer service was lovely and the little shop on site is very fairly priced will be returning. 10-15 min drive from the Llanberis trail head also.

Fantastic find!

Booked this camp site last minute for a race in Llanberis. 5-10 minute drive to Llanberis, 15 mins from Bangor. Stunning views of Snowdon from the campsite. Friendly greeting on arrival. Pitch was easy to find. Pitch was good size, plenty for an 8 birth tent and a car with room for a fire pit etc. I think the electric pitches are slightly bigger again. Toilets and showers were clean. Showers were hot and plenty of power. I stayed alone, so unsure what is available on site for kids. Overall a great little site and I'd definitely visit again if in the area

Amazing break away

Enjoyed our stay so much we extended our break for an extra night, we will definitely be back!

Lovely site

We only stayed for one night but we were made to feel very welcome. Very clean facilities and well maintained pitches

Campsite

Briefly writing, your campsite is, for me, one of the best in Wales. We all have different needs for relaxation. For me, the most important thing was the peace and quiet at the campsite. I appreciate and am very grateful that there are certain restrictions on guests. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay, for the wonderful showers and cleanliness, for the beautifully maintained grounds, and for your hospitality. I will definitely be back. If you're looking for peace and quiet, without loud people or groups, shouting, or music, I wholeheartedly recommend this place. Here you can truly relax and fully enjoy your stay.

Amazing place

Absolutely beautiful place to stay. Me and my mate stayed near the stream on pod 3 and it blocked out the wind and rain, slept amazingly as we were hiking Snowdon. Polite staff and very clean and great value for money. Would recommend, definitely. Thank you!

Beautiful well maintained site, the owners were so welcoming

On arrival I was instantly greeted by the owners who were very helpful and pleasant, the facilities were wonderfully clean, well maintained. The pitch for the tents were very well set up and spacious - 5 stars from me!

A grand place to camp

Coming down to Wales for the first time, I booked Tros Y Waen as it had everything I needed. Hot showers, wash facilities, parking. Peaceful, affordable, drinking water. Close to some great outdoor spots in Eryri.

Dad & lad

We recently stayed here due to it's close proximity to a local theme park. Upon arrival we checked in at the reception area. We were greeted in a warm and friendly manor by a gent who's name I don't know :( he pointed us in the right direction and off we went to set up. The camp site was quiet, calm and had a great view of the surrounding hills. The shower and toilet facilities were immaculate! By far the best I've seen! The children's play area isn't the best but as we'd only stayed the night it didn't matter too much.

Excellent campsite

Absolutely perfect, the staff were amazing from checking in to answering any questions we had. The site was immaculate with drinking water close by, showers and toilets were spotless. Would highly recommend.

Fab Site!

A good spot in North Wales, close enough to shops and attractions etc, but tucked away enough to have some quiet time too. Site is lovely and for simple camping ticks the box. Showers and kitchen are clean and tidy and little shop has plenty to keep you going.

Lovely campsite, would definitely return

Nice, clean campsite. Lovely staff who even put on breakfast as the weather had been too bad for outdoor cooking.

Lovely site

Very nice quiet location. Lovely dog walk. Nice things to do and see.

Great

Great site, so quiet and really friendly and helpful staff. Really clean and tidy with some great views. A great base for climb of Snowdon. Only criticism was my son tried to have a shower and it was cold. I had one earlier in the day and it was lovely. Overall would definitely recommend.

excellent hosts

fantastic place the best hosts we have had on our adventures so far nothing was too much trouble for them lovely people lovely place. and anything they didn't have in there little shop on site it was only 10 min drive to the nearest town where there was a 24hr shop that sold everything you need. thanks for the welcome we enjoyed it so much and will absolutely recommend the site to friends and family. regards Michael Sina and Bailey

Lovely quiet camping field

Has to be the best campsite I have ever stayed on for small short stay. The shower and toilet facilities were spotlessly clean, spacious and with nice homely touches. Pitches were generous in size and nice flat ground. The pretty little stream and woodland was a nice surprise and to find the hidden play area at the rear of the site the was interesting. Stunning sunset views and night sky. I look forward to returning with my child and dog next time for a longer stay.

Beautiful Site - a real gem

Beautiful Campsite, spotlessly clean, quiet, with a cracking little shop which even serves coffee! Washing and toilet facilities were all fully functioning and well maintained as was the whole site. Really liked the way the non-powered sites were in a separate area to the powered which eliminates being overshadowed and hemmed in by camper vans if you are in a small tent. There is also a smart little kids playground out the back of the main camping area on the other side of the stream which I thought was a great idea as it keeps the camping area quieter and (hopefully) free from errant foot balls.

A gem of a campsite

An absolutely lovely campsite in a great location for walking in the Snowdonia area. An easy 10 min drive to Llanberis with good access to the S2 Sherpa'r Wyddfa bus, just on thet main road closed to the entrance of the site. Well kept site with very good sized pitches and well maintained toilets, showers and utility areas. You can hear the maid road from the site but it's not too intrusive and doesn't take away from the peacefulness of the site.

Amazing campsite

We booked for three nights camping, there was a map and each camp spot was clearly displayed. The owners were lovely and so helpful. The camp was well kept, the showers/ toilets were always clean, always spare loo roll in there. There was 6 showers in total, never had to queue. There was also plenty of toilets and two places to wash up. It was very peaceful and quiet here, everyone stuck to the rules and we had a fabulous time! Would definitely recommend and go again.

Beautiful stay
