Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding PitchesJul 2026

The owner/manager rang us while we were travelling to say hello, which was nice. Also came to see us as we were setting up. The site is set in peaceful countryside. There are a couple of walks around the farm fields which were handy for the dog. We sat out each evening watching a family of kestrels that are nesting in one of the boxes. The showers and toilets are the best we have experienced. Not only are they clean and well set up, there are hooks to hang clothes towels etc and a little shelf. There is a good accessible shower and toilet too. There were nets set up with some bats balls and a volleyball which was a nice touch. We walked into the village of Hutton Cranswick. This took about 40 mins. The first kilometre is at the side of a fairly busy road but then you walk through Hutton which is a nicer walk. Good pub called White Horse. Food was good. Good farm shop too which also had a café. We really enjoyed our stay and we will return. As the site is new, there are areas where grass is needed to grow but that's not a problem. We liked the wilding areas with wild flowers etc. this was where the kestrels were forever hunting.

Lovely little find

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding PitchesJul 2026

Our first trip in our new campervan was to Wolds Escape. It seemed fitting as it is a new site, we had a very peaceful stay. We found the pitch spacious, with Electric and water point. The showers and toilets were immaculately clean and well designed, with hanging space for clothes and towels. There is a ramp and disabled bathroom. There is a chemical toilet disposal, but currently no waste water disposal for onboard tanks. The site itself is surrounded by wild flowers and there is a huge effort going into the landscaping of the site. We had a lovely friendly welcome, the email sent was informative. We enjoyed a walk through Hutton village across fields to Hutton Cranswick, where there was a pub and a shop. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you

Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding PitchesJul 2026

This was our first stay at Wold Escapes and we had a really lovely time. As it's a new site, some of the grass and plantings are still getting going, but you can already see how nice it's going to look. The park is well laid out, the pitches are spacious and level, and the banks between the pitches give you a bit of privacy without feeling enclosed. It's a really peaceful place to stay. We spotted lots of birds and even saw a couple of hares running across the fields, which was a lovely surprise. The shower block, toilets and washing-up area were all spotless every time we used them. The electric hook-up worked perfectly and having your own water tap on each pitch was a really useful touch. The setting is beautiful, with lovely views across the countryside. We enjoyed walking the paths around the farm with our dog, especially with all the wildflowers in bloom. We also took a trip to Beverley which was only 20 minutes away and well worth a look round. There are padel courts in one of the farm buildings which we had a go at. You do need to book but there were rackets to borrow and we had a great time trying to play!! There are also some glamping cabins on the site which looked good if that’s your thing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to come back.
