Single Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Mar 2025 Great site. Friendly and professional staff which keep the site pristine.
Be aware that on weekdays, noise from HGVs is significant due to proximity to an A road.

The noise from the traffic can be off putting for some and due to local roadworks it has meant there was more than usual. We hope it hasn't deterred you returning to us in the future.
Wish we were staying longer
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Non Electric Hardstanding Pitches Feb 2025 Farditch Farm was more than we could have asked for.
We are new to "van life" so had booked the pitch last minute. We wish we had stayed an extra couple of nights. The shower facility was clean and warm, there was space to let our dog off to stretch his legs and it was close to a town but far enough out in the countryside to fell we were off grid.
I cannot recommend it enough, and will be back.

Feb half term stay
VW-Type Campervan - Small Electric Campervan Pitches Feb 2025 Facilities had everything you needed and kept super clean. Makes the whole camper experience, especially in the cold and wet, that bit easier!

Excellent site
Motorhome - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Dec 2024 Lovely super pitches which were made private by the bushes. Very good amenities, there was a shower block with a disabled wet room, a lounge area with a TV and kitchen area, which was very clean and tidy.

VW-Type Campervan - Small Electric Campervan Pitches Nov 2024 Lovely little place. Facilities were great and washrooms very clean. The kitchen was good everything in there that you could have needed.
The only thing that wasn't brilliant was the Wi-Fi was very patchy didn't have any yesterday, so may be a problem if you need it!
Would definitely recommend 🙂

We work very closely with IT to make sure the service is good, considering our rural location. Blockers and VPN's on personal devices can sometimes interfere with joining the Wi-Fi.
Winter break
Single Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Nov 2024 The site is excellent. Well maintained and first class facilities, including a kitchen and lounge should you need it.
The only draw back - and it's no fault of the site or owners - is traffic noise, particularly heavy lorries using the A5270 between the A515 and A6, which starts around 04:30 and continues throughout the day. Perhaps to be expected given it's ease of access.

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Nov 2024 Lovely site with great access. The pitches were very generous, they had water electric and a grey waste dump on all pitches. The toilets were immaculate and the staff were very friendly.

Lovely little site, will use again
Twin Axle Caravan - Large Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Nov 2024 Located between Buxton and Bakewell. This site is ideal for exploring, especially the Monsal Trail and Chatsworth.
A clean and tidy site with fully serviced pitches, good facilities too. Also good for dogs, we have 3 who were made welcome 😁

Nice lounge bit, dogs not permitted so didn't use it. Quite expensive for this time of year, but that's our thoughts.

Great stay
Single Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Sep 2024 The site was well kept and communication was good.
We liked the "hands off" approach, the communication from the owners was excellent and there was no need for them to be around on arrival. We enjoyed having a serviced pitch and it felt quite private.
The facilities were very good, very clean and not overcrowded. The kitchen and lounge areas were great; we did not use the lounge but other people were happily relaxing there. We did use the kitchen for washing up and again, this area was very clean and thoughtfully set out.
Walks straight from the site, so no need to use the car. We will return.

Fabulous, clean, great facilities and good space
Single Axle Caravan - Large Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Sep 2024 Beautiful site with great views. Within 30 mins, there is a large amount of things to do, so we will definitely return to continue with the list.
Bathrooms were super clean and up to date, with a lot of space. The kitchen has 2 sinks, a washing machine, a microwave and hobs. Again, very clean and well kept. There was coffee and tea with sachets of milk available to use for when in the lounge. The lounge was a great size, with jigsaws and a TV. Not going to lie, when I walked into the facilities, I felt I was walking into someone's house, so homely and welcoming.
Can't wait to come again and will be telling all my friends to use this site!

Small with extremely clean facilities but too noisy (road) Motorhome - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Aug 2024 As a basic tourer and camper site, the washroom facilities are extremely clean and there is even a basic kitchen and lounge room for all to use.
But what was not mentioned is that the pitches all back on to a road used by motorbike tours and it is a cut through which vehicles use all night. Even in a motorhome, the noise was loud, even with ear plugs in.
The pitches are also under trees, which with wind and peak rain, means that branches and twigs fall on the roof quite regularly, adding to the noise. We cannot fault the facilities, but overall, we wouldn't return due to the proximity to the busy road.

Fabulous small site
Twin Axle Caravan - Large Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Aug 2024 Lovely cosy site for tourers, room for a twin axle and the awning.
Quiet, well presented and lovely, clean facilities. Bit of road noise but nothing that bothered us. Great off-lead area for the dogs. Perfectly positioned for Bakewell, Chatsworth, Buxton, Monsal Dale area. Lovely pub in the village - Church Inn - in walking distance of the site with tarmac footpath all the way there.
Will definitely be back.

Peaceful stay
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Hardstanding Pitches Aug 2024 We stayed for one night on our first ever adventure in our new camper, just to get to know it a bit! The site is in a lovely and peaceful location, 30 minutes walk to a great pub, The Church Inn in Chelmorton.
The toilets and showers are immaculate. We would definitely stay again.

Great base
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Hardstanding Pitches Jul 2024 A great stay at Farditch, with lovely views on our pitch (non-electric). There was a lovely sunrise to wake up to.
The site was a great base for visiting other places, including Castleton and a hike up Mam tor. Facilities were all clean and the showers were lovely and homely.
