Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches (Bottom Field)Aug 2025

Beautiful surroundings and peaceful with the sounds of owls and other wildlife in the evenings. With its own fishing lake for those who just want to get away from the stress of the town and city life and unwind. Only a short drive to Combe Martin, a little village and beach. Plus the Dinosaur park for a good day out and 30 mins away from Barnstaple for the bigger shops. 20 mins away from Ilfracombe and other beaches to explore. Plenty to see and make sure you have your own shopping with you as the bigger supermarkets are a drive away if you just don't want to do anything else. Dog friendly and a few nice walks around and a good field for them to play. It has a play area for younger children and its own restaurant and bar with plenty of different ales, plus meals and very friendly staff. We will be going back to here again at some point. Overall, very happy with our stay 😀

Bell Tent - Bell TentsJul 2025

Our recent stay at Mill park holiday park was really enjoyable, we stayed in the belle tent it was very cosy and had everything we needed, aka an extension lead and a fridge which both came in very handy the scenery was absolutely beautiful of the fishing lake and our kids adored the ducks. The only negative is that the pub the Bent Peg was shut on Monday and Tuesday and we weren't informed until after booking.

Great stay

Small Tent - Electric Grass Tent Pitches (Top Field)Jul 2025

From the moment we booked we got a email to confirm booking and then another email to confirm our pitch number. Saved the faff of checking in reception just drove straight in and pitched our tent. The camp site is clean, well kept, showers/toilets very clean and modern. We walked the grounds in the morning, the lake is beautiful. We didn't use the bar so can't comment on that but our stay was great and we will def be back again. Woolacombe beach - 20 mins Ilfracombe - 10 mins Combe Martin 10 mins We came across a lovely little harbour not far from the campsite - watermouth. Also pub down the road walkable added bonus!

Nice spot

Motorhome - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches (Bottom Field)Jul 2025

Lovely stay, dog friendly, nice for fishing ,nice pub on site, child friendly. Sunday lunch beautiful. Clean toilet facilities. Would be nice if you could control showers yourself, just be careful they do get hot. Dogs must be on leads at all times. Bent Peg pub on site lovely and great food. Dog walking field.

Great stuff, nice location, accommodation

Small Tent - Electric Grass Tent Pitches (Bottom Field)Jul 2025

Good for people who like walking, camp site is connected with south west coast path also good for people with dogs, nice and tidy location with lake, pub which serves food, clean toilets, showers, laundry… Few minutes away from Combe Martin and Hele Bay by car. Woolacombe and Ilfracombe not far as well. Would I recommend this place….. definitely yes!
