Excellent and well equipped campsite

Coppet Hill has everything we wanted in a campsite, and more, starting with a warm and friendly welcome when we arrived. The individual pitches were spacious and well kept, with the nearest 'neighbours' being far enough away for us not to disturb each other. Everything has been well thought out and everything we could possibly need was available. As an older couple we were looking for peace and privacy to enjoy the natural surroundings around us and we certainly got that. But a great place for children too with lots to do in the barn and a large farm to explore. Well situated to explore the Jurrasic coast too. A great few days, would have liked to have stayed longer.

Nice pitch, shame about the distance from facilities

Our pitch was lovely with a great view. The shower and loo were clean and worked fine. The one reason why we would think twice before returning is the distance from car park, washing up area and store to our pitch. If we'd realised it was a long bumpy and exhausting trek with heavy stuff in a wheel barrow or cart, we would have picked a different pitch. All in all, we enjoyed our stay.

We do pride ourselves in offering guests lots of space, unfortunately this does mean that some of the pitches are further from the facilities than others - Sunflower being one of the furthest ones away. We will try to make this clearer on the description. Despite this, we do hope that you enjoyed the stay and perhaps come again to one of the closer pitches, such as Blackcap or Bullfinch.

Gorgeous stay!

Gorgeous stay! Beautiful site with everything you could ask for. Made us welcome and all the help we needed! Such a quiet, calm get away.

Beautiful camping

Beautiful place, really nice people. Would love to come back someday.

Amazing experience

We stayed here as a family for two nights on a family road trip, as a base to explore the Jurassic coast. We visited Durdle Door and West Bay and it was so close to each. We camp a lot in our tent and chose the pod due to space in our car. We are converted! Everything was thought of - towels and bedding, games and a telescope in the pod. The 'ensuite' was incredible. The walk up the hill is difficult at times but so worth it to be on your own at the top. The four ponies made our stay too, spending much of their time looking over our fence and enjoying fusses. We did the sunflower saunter and that was lovely. Lots to do on site - food van on some nights and a games room facility, etc. We would definitely visit again. Thank you.

Great family site

Lovely family site with a gorgeous location. Especially good for younger kids who want to explore nature. Already booked next year.

A hoot at Two Hoots

We had a wonderful stay in Two Hoots landpod. The location is amazing with beautiful views across the fields nestled next to a wildlife pond. The landpod is extremely comfortable & warm with everything supplied, a well-equipped alfresco kitchen & great hot shower. A lovely peaceful place to unwind but also a great base to explore the local area. We loved it & will definitely return.

Lovely, relaxing stay!

A beautiful, peaceful location surrounded by nature. Hosts were great and nothing was too much trouble. We would recommend staying at 'Two Hoots' for a relaxing weekend for couples.

Idyllic

Clean and spacious bell tent with wood burner stove, comfortable and serene, surrounded by wildflowers and birdsong, enjoyed a hot bath under the stars, grilling local beef for dinner, kitchen with gas hobs and equipment for alfresco cooking, just perfect

Quiet and relaxing

Good area for access to Lyme Regis. Great facilities, including very nice showers/wet rooms. The plot was very quiet and private, with lovely views. Enjoyed using the fire pit for a BBQ!

A warm welcome

I've never felt as warmly welcomed at a campsite as we were at Coppet Hill. A brilliantly organised, family-run site.
