Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2022 This was our first camping trip with our children, aged 5 and 7, and we all really enjoyed our stay.
The site was beautiful, with wonderful views and was a proper break from urban life. The facilities were clean, the shower was lovely and hot and James was welcoming and friendly. We had drinking water next to our tent and were even able to toast marshmallows on a campfire.
The location is very good for sightseeing, with a vast National Trust grounds next door, local walks with hilltop views and woodland and the Malvern Hills nearby. We also treated ourselves to a dinner at a local pub, Live and Let Live, which was just a 5 minute drive down the road. We would certainly consider coming back here.
Perfect little campsite Recommends site
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Jul 2022 This is a small, quiet, characterful, rural campsite for tents. I loved it and would recommend it, particularly for someone wanting tranquillity.
The facilities might be a bit basic for some, but I thought they were spot on.
The owners are charming but unobtrusive.
Camping beneath the beeches Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Jul 2022 This is a lovely little campsite for anyone looking for a quiet getaway. It is a very peaceful environment set near to the top of a hillside, behind Warren Farm.
A few things to note: You can't drive right up to the pitches. Cars must be parked just outside the campsite. Pink wheelbarrows are provided for baggage transportation! In the summer the grass is grown long around the edges of the pitches. This gives the campsite a nice natural feel, but can make it difficult if you are in a large group and need some extra space (you aren't meant to walk on the long grass). The facilities are clean but minimal. There is one washing up sink, 2 toilets and 1 shower. It was fine when we were there, but with more people staying it could get busy. There are some lovely old Beech trees in the campsite. Although the views from the campsite aren't great due to the hedges and being behind the farmhouse, there is a nice 30 min walk along the Bromyard downs with amazing views.
All in all, I'd definitely recommend this campsite for some peace and quiet - just be aware that it's not a campsite with all the mod-cons available.
