Motorhome - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Sep 2026 Every aspect of this site is amazing. The pitch was spot on, electric hook up incorporating water point was brilliant. The toilets and showers were very clean and luxurious. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, the same in the shop and the on site takeaway was impressive. Te pub and restaurant was outstanding. I cannot fault this site. Highly recommended and would stay there again without a doubt.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2026 The site is perfect for heading up Ben Nevis. The staff were really friendly. The facilities were abundant and clean. The pitching ground for tents was flat enough (quite an achievement in the Highlands), and the ground was pretty stone free. I definitely recommend this site.

Overall, Glen Nevis Campsite is a well-run, clean, and spacious site in an unbeatable location. It makes the perfect base if you're planning to tackle Ben Nevis—I did the trek (racked up over 28,000 steps up and down!) and being right on the doorstep made the day much easier.
The highlights were the staff: absolutely brilliant. On some campsites, the staff can let the place down, but the team here were friendly, polite, smiling, and genuinely helpful.
Location & facilities were very clean and well-kept. The on-site shop is handy for essentials (a touch pricey, but to be expected), and you're only a short drive from Fort William for Lidl, Aldi, Morrisons, and Home Bargains. Good value for money with plenty of room across the site.
A few minor downside were pitching clarity. A few patches of grass were marked off with stakes and signs to recover, which left a few campers a bit confused about exactly where to pitch. There were noisy neighbours. Had a group nearby being loud, swearing, and smoking stuff you could smell. In hindsight, I probably should have mentioned it to the wardens, but there's only so much the site can do about how other people behave.
Midges as expected in the Highlands, definitely come prepared with repellent!
All in all, a solid, well-managed site in a stunning location. I'd happily recommend it.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2026 Great place to stay managed to get a good view of the mountains in the Ben View area. Nice facilities although one closest to where we were based was closed, however there were temporary toilets. Would stay here again.

Fantastic location and a great campsite
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2026 We stayed here doing grass tent camping and really enjoyed it.
It's a big site in a fantastic location, with plenty of space and a shop on site which was really handy. We also used the campsite as our base for doing Ben Nevis, which was perfect. After the hike, we had food and drinks at the Glen Nevis Restaurant & Bar, which was lovely. The food was great and it was the perfect way to finish the day.
The only thing I'd mention is that the toilets and showers felt a little more dated compared with some of the other campsites we stayed at. That's more of a personal preference than a criticism of the site, though, and didn't take away from what was otherwise a great stay.

Motorhome - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Aug 2026 Very well serviced campsite, we appreciated the nice advice from the staff, the kid area, the proximity of showers and toilets and their comfort. Location is perfect with good walks all around. And very easy access vivent the pitch number was provided in advance. High standing.
Excellent spot

Had a great stay and the staff were great, nothing was too much trouble. There was plenty of room for the tents.
Unfortunately, as one of the toilet/shower blocks was being renovated, there was sometimes a queue for the showers. The shower block was kept clean, although beginning to look a little tied, but I assume this is to be renovated as well.
All in all, great time was had and it made it easy to access to walks and only a short distance from Fort William. On-site shop well stocked with groceries and on-site cooked food available, which looked good, but on this occasion was not used.
Campsite was great
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2026 We had a few very wet days while camping and Facilities were all used during this time, all kept clean and in good condition. Location is outstanding being at the foot of Ben Nevis views were spectacular, Fort William is a short drive or a nice walk away, lots of great walks in the Glen if you dont want to climb the mountain. We booked for 4 nights so great value for money .
