About the site

These chic glamping options are all set on the shores of Loch Tay, in the central Highlands of Scotland. Based within Perthshire, this is one of Scotland's most beautiful areas where you'll be surrounded by mountains, lochs, and rivers all from the comfort of your own cosy accommodation. You're spoilt for choice with wooden pods, camping domes, hideouts, cabins, lodges and even a bothy available. Some include a hot tub outside - perfect for an evening chill after a day's exploring. The pods sleep four, with a lovely fire pit and picnic area outside, while inside you have the luxury of a kettle for your cuppa, fridge, microwave and a TV for when you want to chill out. Premium glamping pods add delightfully comfy beds inside, a hob for cooking up a meal and the option to include a hot tub. Chic superior pods add a few extra luxury touches, with ensuite facilities and the option to have your own hot tub. Camping domes are another unique option, again with the option to have a wood burning hot tub and a toasty wood burning stove in your furnished interior. Woodland cabins are the perfect choice for up to four guests with a double bed and small double sofa bed, and a fully furnished interior. Bedding is provided for the double bed and towels for up to two adults and two children. A fully equipped bothy for eight and a range of decadent lodges are the icing on the cake. All of the standard pods and some of woodland cabins are pet-friendly, as well as some of the gorgeous Scandinavian-built 2 and 3 bedroom holiday lodges.

Camping Pod - Camping Pods (Dog Friendly)Sep 2025

The campsite is lovely and clean. The camping pod was warm and comfortable with the toilet/shower block very close. The staff were very helpful. We paid £10 on arrival for the use of the private bathroom as it was just myself, female, and my 11 year old son and it meant I didn't have to let him use the gents showers on his own. Beautiful location and we booked the archery and a meal in the restaurant. The only downside was that we could not get WiFi due to our camping pods location and as it was very heavy rain, so we were stuck inside for quite a while.

Glamping Pod - Premium Ensuite Glamping Pods with Hot Tubs (Dog Friendly)Sep 2025

We had an amazing time, in one of the glamping pods. The view is spectacular. we felt like we had lots of privacy too. It was basic but exactly what we needed, with some amazing scenery. The hot tub was ideal for a chilly night in September too. The Boat House restaurant was superb and the bar man was a great host! (also the guitar player) We will definitely be back, maybe in one of the lodges next time. Oh, we did axe throwing with element activities, the activities guide was awesome too! Thank you for amazing and memorable holiday!

Lovely stay, lodge wasn’t very clean

Glamping Pod - Premium Ensuite Glamping Pods with Hot Tubs (Dog Friendly)Aug 2025

Loved the lodge, very beautiful location and staff were lovely. However, it wasn't very clean, we had to sweep the floor again and loads of dog hair and dirt was swept up on arrival, there were lots of dead bugs on the bathroom floor and mould outside the shower. Would have expected it to be cleaner for how expensive our stay was!
