Lovely site

Lovely site. Stayed on the Orchard site. It was quiet which was perfect. Lots of walks about and fishing on the lake if u want to go out in a boat after pike. Lovely cafe and pub. Best bathrooms we have ever come across ! Separate rooms, bathrooms with toilet and a sink and walk in shower. Very clean and lovely shower. As it was quiet we had no trouble accesing a toilet when needed but it might be different if it was busy. We would stay here again.

Well worth it

Beautiful location, nice size pitches. Peaceful. Very helpful staff. Immaculate. You get an entire toilet/sink/shower cubicle to yourself. Good wash up areas. You can get rid of your "waste" as well.

Great site

Lovely site, excellent facilities. Felt safe and comfortable as a solo camper.

Perfect for all Brecon needs

Absolutely lush. Perfect for all brecons walks and ace on and shop with cool breakfast cafe. Can't say enough really, defo coming back.

Fab campsite

A lovely campsite, accommodated our request for a quiet pitch, very clean facilities and spectacular views.

Tranquil and therapeutic after coping with a recent illness

A very nice site. It is well maintained also ideal flat pitches for tents and caravans. There are plenty of outdoor activities nearby and great for exploring new ventures.

Fabulous retreat!

The site was fabulous, a shame the weather could not accommodate more of the water activities. Will definitely be returning!

Brilliant place

Fantastic place to go, amazing views lots of space toilets and showers. Good shop and the café was good, will be going again.

Great campsite

We had a great stay at lakeside lovely campsite with great showers and toilets. Close to the lake, I would definitely go back.

Lovely clean site, noisier at a weekend

Site clean and tidy. Family friendly. Plenty of space. Quiet throughout the week but a bit more noise at the weekend. Warden on top of any complaints regarding noise and dealt with promptly.

Wonderful

Stayed with a friend, vw & tent. Have zero faults. Great for families as plenty of room for kids to explore. Friendly ponies wandering around by the lake. Friendly staff. We couldn't get anywhere closer to the waterfalls as last minute booking. Glad we couldn't as the drive was breathtaking and we climbed Pen y fan 20 mins away.

Our stay

I was sent all info for the location of my allocated pitch so could drive straight to it and pitch up without having to stop and book in. Brilliant if you like the pitch allocated. Mine was right next to the main access road to the site, so due to inconsiderate drivers, people and the free roaming horses that walked on the road, it tended to be a bit noisy. Also, there were a lot of inconsiderate campers and caravanners who would be very noisy well past the site's times for no noise.

A really nice quiet site with very good facilities which were kept clean. I will be coming back!!!

Wonderful location, near the lake, clean facilities. I would like to come again.

Tent pith

Pitch no 38 right next to the toilet - not much sleep, people using the toilet all hours of the night could hear everything not very private.

Lovely site

Nice friendly site. Kids enjoyed themselves. Problems with other noisy campers dealt with quickly. Theresa, the cleaner, does an amazing job of keeping the facilities clean and tidy. We will come back again.

Great campsite!

Facilities were clean, which made for a comfortable stay. The site was patrolled to ensure everybody’s having a great time and there were no rule breakers. Close proximity to the lake, which has good options for hiring boats, paddle boards, etc.

Beautiful place

Just back from a 3 night camping trip at Lakeside. We chose an electric pitch and were in Elwyns Field plot 4. Site was beautiful and clean with ample toilets and hot showers for all campers. Chemical disposal, and washing up facilities also ample. The pitch was a good size and easily accommodated our large tent. the site is a 5 minute walk from Llangorse Lake and all the facilities it has to offer including café, shop and club house. We didn't eat there but the food looked good and drink prices were reasonable. The shop on site is a little expensive but your a 2 minute drive Llangorse village or 10 minutes from Brecon with a couple of supermarkets and numerous shops.. 30 minutes the other direction and you're in Abergavenny so the location is ideal and of course all the Brecon Beacons National Park has to offer is right on it's door step. The views from the park are spectacular both day and night. We were lucky to have a couple of cloudless nights and it's perfect for stargazing. Even though the site was busy it has a no noise after 11 policy so its lovely and peaceful for a good night's rest. We loved it there and will definitely be returning.

Good campsite

Clean facilities -. Note……Camping with tents is very strict on plot number provided in welcome email. I pitched a 1 man tent in my plot but was advised to move it slightly 4 ft to the left of where I was pitched. Received a call on this 15 mile into a walk.

We do ask guests to pitch within their allocated plot to ensure everyone has the space they’ve reserved and to avoid any overlap with other bookings. When we spoke, I explained that your tent was set up on the neighbouring plot, which had been reserved by other guests arriving later that evening. I also reassured you there was no immediate rush to move it, just that it needed to be adjusted slightly to avoid any issues later on. We appreciate your understanding and hope you enjoyed the rest of your stay.

Really nice campsite

Really enjoyed our stay here, location and lake were beautiful, toilets and shower blocks were clean and the shop was stocked with all the amenities you would need. The staff in the bar were friendly and helpful. The view of the stars at night was beautiful.

Brilliant

Absolutely amazing site & we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Only improvement would be to have either a squeegee or mop & bucket at shower rooms so that they could be wiped out after use.

Great stay

Our stay was welcomed by great host who welcomed us warmly and accommodated our late arrival at the site. The location is great itself with a view straight out from a little walk from the pitch. Toilets and showers were well kept tidy and I have to day we will be back soon.

Great campsite in perfect location

We really enjoyed staying here. It is a lovely campsite, spacious, good facilities and clean with super friendly staff. Really safe for kiddies and a great atmosphere all round. We will be returning to this campsite as the location in Brecon is ideal for exploring and there is so much to do close by, plus the scenery is out of this world.
