A note from the site themselves...

Welcome to Avon Estates. We're a family-owned, independent company with more than 40 years of experience creating holiday and residential park communities in beautiful locations across the heart of the UK. Since 1984, our aim has been to create places where people can enjoy holidays, build communities, and make memories that last.

Avon Estates was founded by Nic's parents, who started the business with just three parks and a small team. Over the years, it has grown into a collection of 14 parks supported by around 70 team members, but the family values at the heart of the business have remained the same.

For Nic, Avon Estates is much more than a business. Having grown up around the parks, he has been involved in the company from a young age and has continued the family's vision into the next generation. His passion for the business and its communities remains central to the way Avon Estates continues to grow.

Today, our parks offer a range of experiences, from family holidays and holiday retreats to residential communities and places to enjoy time with friends and family. Whether you're visiting for a break, looking for a holiday home, or enjoying time together at the Riverside Venue Bar and Restaurant, we're proud to be part of the moments that bring people together.

Things to do on site and in the Stratford-Upon-Avon area

Guests can hire paddleboards and take to the River Avon. If you'd rather stay on dry land, bike hire makes it easy to explore the surrounding countryside and nearby cycling routes at your own pace. Families and friends can also enjoy a fun round of crazy golf.

One of the most enjoyable ways to reach the town is by hopping aboard the river boat taxi, which travels along the River Avon into the heart of Stratford-upon-Avon (last boat back is around 5.20pm).

Just a five minute drive away (or catch the river taxi), Shakespeare's Birthplace is one of England's most famous historic attractions. Visitors can explore the preserved Tudor house where William Shakespeare was born and learn about the life and legacy of the celebrated playwright.

Also only five minutes from the park is the Stratford Butterfly Farm, home to hundreds of colourful butterflies flying freely in a tropical indoor environment. Alongside butterflies, visitors can discover exotic birds, insects, reptiles and tropical planting.

Other nearby attractions include:

  • Royal Shakespeare Theatre (5 minutes)
  • Warwick Castle (15 minutes)
  • Cadbury World (45 minutes)
  • Drayton Manor (50 minutes)
  • Cotswold Wildlife Park and Gardens (1 hour)
