Perfect, quiet site
VW-Type Campervan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches - 7.5m Jun 2024 We loved our stay here. We're new to camping and this site has everything. Perfect pitch with nice views, spotless toilets and showers, which are all new, and a pub close by.
Mel was lovely and welcoming and asked us if there was anything we needed just to ask.
We walked to West Burton, a little village close by, which was very picturesque with plenty of fells and a beautiful waterfall. I'd have taken a dip but it was very busy that day as the sun was out.
All in all, a perfect weekend. We'll definitely be back.
Superb facilities, warm welcome
Medium Tent - Large Grass Level Tent Pitches (Optional Electric) Jun 2024 Lovely flat camping pitches, all with electric. New shower block with washing facilities, fridge/freezer and tourist info.
Very warm welcome from owners who gave some great ideas on where to visit. Only slight drawback was the only place to walk dog was along the main road (which was quiet).
Highly recommend and will be back.
Lovely site
VW-Type Campervan - Hardstanding Touring Pitches - 6m (Optional Electric) Oct 2023 This site was in a great location and driving to and from was lovely and scenic. The hardstanding pitch was great with plenty of room and easy hook up. The toilet/shower facilities were really clean and well looked after.
The site itself was also really well maintained, clean and was well laid out. We had a lovely, peaceful stay xx

Spotless, shower block/toilets, lovely views of the Dales. Nice little pub 5 minutes walk through the campsite, lovely reasonably priced food with very large portions for sure.
Would highly recommend for a couple of nights, thanks.

Motorhome - Hardstanding Touring Pitches - 6m (Optional Electric) Sep 2023 Lovely quiet campsite. Toilets and shower block were spotlessly clean. Good washing up facilities and waste disposal. Great pub next door with fantastic food.
Great campsite
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Hardstanding Touring Pitches - 6m (Optional Electric) Sep 2023 This park is in a beautiful area, ideal for touring this part of Yorkshire. The campsite and facilities are immaculate. In fact, they look brand new.
Another huge plus point is the Street Head Inn at the entrance to the campsite. We tried the Haddock and chips and Steak, ale and mushroom pie, which were both delicious with huge portions. Only down side is we were so full we couldn't sample the desserts. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. One lady even boxed up my fish leftovers for our cats.
Will definitely stay here again. Thank you.
