Woodland setting

Working farm with friendly owner. Small site with limited spaces so very quiet and peaceful. Only one outside toilet with 1 power shower. EHU and water on pitch. Very close to Penzance but far enough into countryside for dark skies.

Fantastic little site

Lovely little site 5 min drive from Penzance town centre. Perfectly functioning shower and toilet with great water pressure and warm water. Each pitch was fully serviced with electricity and a deliciously fresh water supply. There was local veg on sale which made a great addition to our dinners. Overall, a great location with and incredibly interested owner, who would make sure you had everything you needed to make your stay comfortable. He even put up some hooks in the washroom when my fiancé asked for them.

Very friendly service

Lawrence could not be more friendly and welcoming. One of the more basic sites but what it lacks in finesse, it more than makes up for in warmth and friendliness. Has everything you could need. Maybe check your mobile network as 3 doesn't work great, but others do. Incredible dog walks in all directions.

Our stay

Owners a nice guy, we were on the pitches at the top hard stone, with electric and water. Only trouble was my girlfriend struggled walking down the hill to toilet. And with there only being one toilet/ shower between 9 pitches, it wasn't guaranteed to be being free. Needs more toilets separate from shower. Shower was good with hot water and room was clean. Handy for nearby places too.

Perfect stay

We had a lovely stay at Fox Farm. Great price for the service, small site tucked away so it was lovely and quiet. Owner was great and there was a lovely little veg and flower stall! Will definitely be booking again.

Perfect tiny hardstanding home for 2 nights

After spending 2 nights in a boggy field, we needed an emergency hardstanding pitch for a couple of nights. Fox Farm was perfect for this. Very close to Penzance and nice sheltered spot. Toilet was nice and clean but found it hard as there was only 1 and this also housed the shower too so therefore was nearly always in use.

Lovely welcome, but poor facilities

When I arrived there were no signs to indicate where reception was or who to contact to check in. I eventually found someone who was associated with the farm (this is a working farm) I asked him how to contact the owner. He took me to a gate and knocked on it. One of the owners came out. Initial interaction was brief. However, the other owner came to my motorhome to check that everything was okay. I was given the code to the toilets and shower room. I went to go in and look at these facilities. Although I was told they were not yet complete. I was shocked to say that they were able to call those sufficient facilities for campers. I would suggest that if you're using this campsite that you have your own toilet and shower facilities in your vans. On the plus side, the owner was very friendly and informative about the local area. It's in a peaceful setting. However, there is some road traffic as the site is quite near a road that seem to be particularly busy even though it was not a main road.

Fab little place for a stopover

This place is very basic but adequate, situated in a quiet country road. We had a great night's sleep as it was so peaceful. The owner was very welcoming and give us some tips for visiting Lands End. Can't comment on the facilities as we didn't use them. Would def stay again if we are ever back round this area.
