Amazing stay for family and beautiful location

The place was breathtaking, close to the beaches and lots to do. Village was beautiful and we all had an amazing time.

Great view, perfect location and amazing hospitality

Wonderful camping hosts. I was very touched by their trust in the guests. There is a self-service shop with everything you need and excellent instructions for staying. Everything is very clean and thought out. A cozy place from where it is very convenient to get to all local attractions and beaches.

Quiet getaway

We have been to this site a few times now and have loved it each time. It's off the beaten track and the location is perfect for a quiet getaway. We will definitely be returning again.

Great site with good facilities

Lovely site, lots of space and cute farm shed shop. Sausages & steaks were tasty!

Good spot

This is a great place to go camping. However, either walking boots or a car is a must if you want to go exploring. There's absolutely nothing nearby, apart from an overpriced local pub, so if you want to go to the beach or another pub, then you either need to be prepared to walk an hour and a half up really steep hills to get there, or be a confident driver to drive around sharp single lane corners, going up and down hills. Also, be prepared to scratch your car/van up a little bit from the hedges! We didn't mind the walking as we had dogs with us, so it was a great adventure, but this definitely isn't somewhere to go if you don't like walking and don't want to drive everywhere. The shop was great and facilities super clean, the grass was a bit long but it was soon trampled down from walking on it in our little pitch area. Great views too 😊

Highly recommended

Lovely campsite with plenty of space to pitch. Nice views with clean showers and composting toilets which are cleaned daily. Lovely walks to the village pub, estuary and beach. Very helpful and friendly owners and well stocked farm shop. Highly recommended!

Lovely site

Lovely site, toilets and showers are super clean, nice walks to estuary and East Portlemouth to catch ferry to Salcombe. Be aware, walk is both hilly and flat. Will definitely return, lovely peaceful site.

Lovely campsite

Lovely campsite, quiet and peaceful, with views over the estuary and only a short walk. The toilets and showers were clean, would definitely return.

Great campsite!

Beautiful views and very clean showers and toilets. Very quiet and peaceful. Amazing pub in South Pool, the food was amazing and it was only a 10 minute walk away.

Wonderful campsite

Beautiful campsite, lots of room. Fabulous views, a lovely little shop and Paul the owner is fantastic. Definitely stay again.

Beautiful!

Amazing views. Great location. 15 mins walk to the Millbrook Inn. Great little shop with honesty box. Perfect campsite.

Wild, large, level and friendly campsite

Although the lanes were narrow arriving here, it was a joy to be welcomed by the friendly owner and the beautiful views. Everything needed for a restful and peaceful stay for the night. Level field, fire baskets available, clean toilets and showers and helpful and friendly owner.
