Peaceful and secluded, Tobacconist Farm is an adult only site just a five minute walk to Michinhampton in the picturesque Cotswolds AONB. There are grass pitches, with optional electric, with 12 suitable for tents, tourers, campervans and motorhomes and six suitable for tents only. Raised fire pits are even provided by the site! Dogs are more than welcome to join you with a designated dog walking area and some great walks directly from the site.

We were welcomed by Lucy when we arrived and shown to our assigned pitch, although we did have the field to ourselves when we arrived so she told us to choose and set up wherever we liked. We booked an electric pitch and Lucy quickly got us hooked up. The whole campsite was well mowed and the patches of trees and wild grass used to separate the pitches was great for added privacy and everyone had plenty of space. Clean toilets and showers and plenty of space too with lovely hot water. Great little under cover washing up area, there was also a laundry with a washing machine and fridge, but we didn't use these so cannot comment. There were also picnic tables and fire pits available to use and to move around where needed. As an adult only site, it was nice and peaceful - great for relaxing. The village was within easy walking distance and had a little bakery/cafe where you could get breakfast and a small supermarket shop which were very handy. There was also a chippy and pub, but we did not use them. Overall we had a great stay and it was lovely to meet Lucy, and of course I need to give a mention to Alan & Alice the resident site donkeys, so cute!! I would definitely recommend and would happily stay again. Thanks for having us x

Lovely quiet, tidy site with great location to Minchinhampton. Toilets and showers clean and tidy. Owners sell logs for fire pits and there are also ones to hire/borrow on site. Absolutely GREAT fish and chip shop 10 mins walk away that delivers too. Would definitely recommend to others and think we will be coming back. Loved the wild cows walking along the streets and over the common.

A lovely location. A quaint village with an excellent pub within a 10 minute walk - The Crown. A bit on the pricey side, but the food was beyond excellent. You will get what you pay for. Campsite showers and bathrooms are really clean and tidy. Firepit provided. All in all a lovely time was had by my fiancé and me.
A beautiful campsite with lots of space

A beautiful site in the middle of the village within walking distance of a pub and bakery that also sells delicious coffee and food. The entrance looks messy with old caravans and sheds, but the camping fields behind are very nice. Recommended! Translated from Dutch.

Thank you for your review. You're right, the campsite is a beautiful, a hidden gem, tucked away and very private. You do have to come through my farmyard to get there but that makes it even more special. Thanks again, Lucy

This is our second stay with Lucy at Tobacconist Farm and we'll be back again. As ever, spotlessly clean and well-maintained toilet/kitchen block, limitless hot water, use of fridge/freezer and washing machine, spacious and level pitch. It was breezy - nothing anyone can do about that - so our gazebo was a fail, but apart from that, it was another smashing weekend. Thank you, Lucy, for all your recommendations: pub grub, canal walk and ice-cream parlour.

What an amazing place to stay, clean toilets and showers. Nice size pitches, great location, close to the village. Lucy, the owner, is an absolute star. She went above and beyond, helping us with our plans and ensuring that we had a great time. Definitely will be going back for longer next time. 5 stars, excellent site.

Fantastic site. Best facilities we have seen anywhere in UK. Lucy was very welcoming and gave us lots of info about the village. Would definitely recommend but not too much as it will spoil it!😂

A lovely peaceful site, and a very large pitch. We were camping with our adult daughter and there was enough room for the campervan, awning/gazebo and a couple of pop up tents, and loved the picnic table that was part of every pitch. Plenty of toilets and showers which were very clean and never busy. Though the campsite was near to the town's facilities, it really felt like we were in the middle of beautiful countryside. We only wanted to stay for one night, but had to book for minimum of 2, which made the pitch more expensive than we would normally pay.

Hi, Thanks for your review. We are a very small campsite and have a minimum booking of two nights over every weekend and three over a bank holiday. Sorry that you weren't able to stay the second night. You did however stay and enjoy our site all Sunday afternoon. Lucy - Tobacconist Farm

My partner and I stayed over the weekend, lovely quiet camp. Short walk to the local pubs and cafes. The facilities were clean and well stocked, warm showers. Electric hook up and water in the field we stayed in. Polite and warm welcome from Will, showed us where everything was- fire pits and logs available on site.

Fabulous little site, thoughtfully laid out large pitch with water and electric very close to hand. Plenty of room between pitches and the natural wildflower berm adds privacy. Facilities are always spotless, Lucy, the owner and her team are helpful and obliging. The woodland walking area for the dogs is a welcome addition. Close to local amenities, it's a perfect spot for a peaceful weekend getaway and for exploring the local countryside. It's our favourite site and we'll definitely visit again.

Lovely, peaceful campsite in a great location on the edge of a village with shop, pub and takeaway. Perfect for exploring the Cotswolds. Lucy the owner was very helpful and accommodating when we asked to change our dates, thank you! Shower and toilet facilities excellent and very clean. Some pitches in the camping field are on a slight slope.

Lucy is an excellent host, the small village of Minchinhampton in just 5 min walk away with an excellent butcher and Henry's Bakery/cafe have the best sausage rolls. The facilities were brilliant and very clean, and it was very busy when we stayed, but we never had to wait. Oh, and the washing machine was free to use, bonus.

This is a lovely campsite where the pitches are a good size and some have long grass to separate from other pitches. There is water on each pitch which is great. The shower/bathroom and kitchen block is very clean and adequate facilities. Communication from Lucy was excellent and she was there to welcome me and show me the pitch - thanks. I only stayed one night, but will come back and stay longer.

What a find, even before arrival Lucy was so helpful, and on arrival she was there to greet us and help with any info we needed. The site is amazing, best facilities we've ever had. We took our little dog, there was a great walking area for him. We caught a bus to Stroud, walked along the canal and also walked the common- that's a small walk away, definitely recommend if you're in the area or just passing through. Lovely pub in the village with shop, butcher and everything you'll need.

I stayed here for a few days when I was doing some work at Woodchester Mansion. This campsite was nearby and was a good price, so I stayed here for the duration of my work week. The village is very pretty and had a good pub and chippy. I didn't do any of the nearby walks, but I hear that they're good. The shower facilities are excellent and the fields were well-maintained. The animals on site were an added bonus (some chickens and donkeys but they were quiet) 100% would recommend.
