Fabulous campsite!
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2025 Walsh at a little diamond of a campsite!
Friendly and welcoming owners greeted us when we arrived and gave us all the info. Pitches were flat and spacious. Peaceful and quiet pretty much all day both days we stayed ( just the odd sound of a bird scarer occasionally).
Went to the local pub for dinner and had fantastic food and service there.
Facilities were clean and tidy and more than covered our needs staying in a campervan and a little shop for bread, eggs, milk etc. What more can you ask for for a lovely weekend away despite a little rain!
Thanks for having us - we'll definitely be back!
Beautiful campsite with great hosts and facilities
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2025 Great campsite in a very beautiful location! The hosts were friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was very pleasant.
For those camping without a car/using public transport, the buses were on time but infrequent.
Overall, a very lovely stay with great facilities! Would definitely stay again.

Great site, friendly and good facilities
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 Friendly staff greeted us, and welcomed us to the site. The location is great for seeing coastal Kent, Canterbury and the region. Great food and drink at The Alma, including take away pizza for Friday and Saturday.
We used one of the fire pits available, which was very good for keeping warm into the night. Wood, kindling and fire lighters available for reasonable cost.
Facilities are good - showers warm, freezer and a washer dryer if needed (we didn't use it). Very clean. Will be returning!

Quite farm campsite
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 Loved the site, friendly staff, well maintained, has hot showers, flushing toilets and kept to a clean standard, small shop with the basics like milk, bread etc. close to local attractions by car.
Would definitely go back.

Everything clean, clearly marked. Busy but didn't feel overcrowded. Lsovely 2 time staying there.
Great campsite
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 Our stay here was amazing. Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The site is small and very pretty, so quiet and relaxing.
The showers and toilets were always clean and good.
The local pub just a 5 minute walk was very friendly with lively food. We were introduced to the Kentish game of Bat and Trap one night when the local team had a home game.
Plenty to visit in the surrounding area. We had such a good time on our first trip to this campsite we will be going back to the campsite.

Would definitely recommend to anybody.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 Truly beautiful! The owners are super lovely, they explained the facilities, allowed us to pitch up in an area where the sun would set straight into our tent and it wasn't too busy!
It was just brilliant! Words can't really describe the place, it was just that great!
Lovely cherry orchard site

You can hear the M2 constantly in the background and the farmer woke us at 05:30 a couple of times spraying his crops.
We would return here again though.

Perfect little campsite
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2025 Fantastic stay, great site, just the right size not too big.
Brilliant separate football/ball games play area in the next field, means kids have got an enclosed safe space to run and play without disturbing anyone.
Very flat ground so the kids loved riding their bikes around the site, and they also loved the cherry tree and enjoyed the foraged cherries all weekend. Simon and Karen couldn't be any more helpful and accommodating, great people.
Would recommend for a nice, simple, easy pleasant visit.

Motorhome - Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2025 A lovely little campsite in a very peaceful setting. Simon and Karen were wonderful hosts very warm and friendly. Facilities very good, clean and tidy and plenty of hot water. Meet lots of nice people and enjoyed my stay very much, I will be going back.

Trailer Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2025 Great stay in a lovely convenient location.
Greeted by a lovely couple who gave us a warm welcome and directed us to our pitches, which they had put together like we'd requested which was great!
Facilities were clean, had everything you needed. Cute little shop where we bought marshmallows as we'd run out.
The house you can rent is 500 years old and beautiful to drive past every time you leave. Lovely field to walk the dog in and place was friendly for dogs.
Will definitely come back as more to explore nearby and perfect for our needs. Thanks!!!!

Very friendly, helpful owners that keep it immaculate. Nice clean toilets/shower & washing up facilities. Beautiful setting with pretty twinkling lights at night. Lovely local pub just 5 min walk, definitely recommend.

A fleeting visit
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Mar 2025 We spent one night here as a quick getaway. The owners were really welcoming, the site was quiet and clean. It is located in a lovely village. Despite being just off the A2, it felt like we were in the middle of nowhere.
Highly recommended.
