GR8 2 night Stay

Still new to campervaning, but this site had everything we could have asked for, not overwhelmed with childrens entertainment either.

Highly recommend

Great location. Tidy and organised site. Showers etc clean. Would use again. And thoroughly recommend campsites.co.uk took

Lovely views, we really enjoyed it , alot of walking involved

Great location but not very happy staff

Not very happy staff at all. Got the impression they didn't want to be there. This seemed consistent throughout from reception, who was really unhelpful, said we shouldn't need to be here, just use the internet app. When I asked best the pitch to stay, she said that she doesn't do camping or motorhomes, just a hotel only girl. To restaurant staff who seemed very unhappy and it's only July? So season has just began. To pool staff who were buried in their mobile and didn't even acknowledge you. The best staff were the garden and maintenance staff who always smiled and said hello.

Lovely break!

Great 5 nights spent at this beautiful campsite, weather definitely helped! Only downside was the additional costs for pool and soft play, which stack up, and not sure shop/restaurant prices were great value for money.

Beautiful site, so clean. The shower blocks were really clean.

Great site. We had a very relaxed holiday and shall return

The site is well appointed, the facilities are clean and cleaned regularly. The staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. The animals, at night, provided an adventure and talking point. Martin's restaurant is well worth a visit, we had Sunday lunch/carvery and it was very good. The onsite baking of croissants and baguette was an extra feature along with a well stocked shop for all the essentials.

Lovely campsite near the beach and amenities

The only criticism we found was we were booked in by a Spar shop assistant who couldn’t answer any questions

Lovely site! Well kept, clean and the staff were visible throughout and super friendly. Would definitely recommend, we will be coming back

Probably the best site I've ever stayed on! And there have been a few over the last 30+ years.

Beautiful Dorset coast

We only stayed for a couple of nights but it felt like a whole week as we did so much walking on the beautiful SW coastal path that passes right next to this site. The site is perfect for campers and , although we don't have a dog, it seems to accommodate them too and kids 😄. Also we had a drink in Martin's Bar on the site and that was very nice too. The toilets and shower facilities were spot on and very clean and fresh

Fabulous

Excellent site beautiful views. Showers were very clean and water pressure was good. The site was exceptionally clean and tidy. We was in a tent with hook up, pitch size was large. water taps and refuge bins close by. We used the leisure centre which was £4.50 for use of swim sauna and steam room good value for money. We will definitely return.

Amazing

Lovely beautiful clean site with amazing views and location, was Ideal location for me and my 3 dogs. 20 min walk to west Bay. Lots of dog friendly amenities - dog walking areas, dog showers, right on the coastal path. Lovely loo and shower blocks. Nice to be able to select your own pitch. Good selection of places to get food and drink. Me and my dogs will definitely be going back.

First class gem of a site

First time at this site, won't be the last. Everything works, a good deal of thought has gone into this place in these days of high prices for not very special facilities. Highlands left us thinking of great value for money. We had a fully serviced hard standing pitch which suited us fine as there was a good over run of grass at the rear. On the opposite side, there is no grass at the rear, which made it difficult for caravans to site easily. This would be my only negative thought and that is that this area has been put together with motorhomes in mind and perhaps that could have been mentioned in advance.

Great stay

Fantastic site, had everything and more for a great couple of nights, everything was clean and tidy. The facilities were perfect. We enjoyed the swimming pool (small charge) it was perfect for relaxing. The bar area was pleasant and staff were friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

First time in a motorhome

This was our first time at a campsite, in our first motorhome which we collected the previous day. The site was really good. In a lovely location just a 20 minute walk to West Bay. The site facilities were good too and regularly cleaned and maintained. We were disappointed that no food was served in Martin's Bar on the Sunday evening, but we were able to buy food in the small convenience store just before it closed at 6.30pm. Overall, this was a very enjoyable break and we would have no hesitation in returning.

Beautiful if somewhat misty

Lovely campsite. Unfortunate it was so misty, as the views would have been beautiful. Didn't realise just how close West Bay was by foot. Very easy walks to both West Bay and the beach. The shower pressure was insane! Everything was very clean and well looked after. Very good value for money. Thanks for a lovely stay.

This is one of the best campsites we have stayed on.

This is one of the best campsites we have stayed on. The facilities were clean whatever time you used them. The walk to the beach was only 5 minutes down but longer back due to the incline. An easier walk into West Bay which was pleasant and had stunning views along the way. Excellent service from all the staff.

we enjoyed it very much. The campsite and facilities were clean and tidy. we loved the huge dog park. we didn't use the shop or restaurant as we brought all we needed. lovely to have it there though. it was wo nderfully quiet! dog washing facility good idea.
