Amazing views

Amazing views, just breath-taking. Gemma was also really helpful and offered us a wind breaker. Thank you so much, sorry we had to leave, but this site overall is fab and quiet, with views that are just amazing.

Fantastic stay!

A great site, the staff were very friendly and the location was perfect.

Excellent views

The only negative was that some of the other campers were a bit loud and the way the site is orientated into the side of a quarry, it amplifies sound somewhat. Everything else was great. Best views we've ever had from our tent, owners were friendly and helpful and the facilities clean and well maintained. The pitches are a little stony so I would recommend an air bed or cot with a protector underneath. Amazingly bug free, even when I forgot to shut the bug net one night, we didn't get any visitors. If it's damp expect a few slugs though 🤣 Really close to the attractions in Fairbourne and easy to get to Barmouth/Aberwen. We cycled over the railway bridge but there is also the ferry. Likely to return at some point soon!

Lovely site with amazing views

We enjoyed our stay here. The view from the site is amazing and the facilities were clean. There was an issue with hot water during our stay but that didn't ruin our time there. We would love to go again.

Lovely campsite!

Lovely campsite with the amazing views, especially the sunset! Got one problem, no hot water on my last stay, had to shower in freezing water. Apart from that, me and my partner had a great weekend away!

Holiday

The only downfall was in the upper toilets. They would benefit from a floor blade to swipe the water back to the shower after each person. Other than that it was a beautiful, love the way the pitches are on different levels for privacy, owners were very attentive. Would love to return.

Non-electric pitch for family of 3

We had a pitch for a medium tent. The site is very steep but all sites are on tiers, flat and a good size. # You can't park directly next to the tent as the pitches are slightly higher than the track you drive up on. The views across the bay are magnificent. The sunsets are stunning. I was very impressed with the shower and toilets blocks, they were very clean and spacious. There are plenty of drinking water taps dotted around and washing up facilities next to the shower block.

Amazing campsite

We absolutely loved it! Great location, beautiful views from the tent, lots of showers and toilets well maintained and clean. Super friendly and very helpful owners. Would definitely recommend! Thank you for making out stay amazing :)

Hell of a view!

Stunning views over the estuary and bay from the pod and site. Comfy bed. Recommend train from Fairbourne to Barmouth.

Great place

We really enjoyed our stay, facilities were great & the view from the large pitches was beautiful. As a family of 3 the location was okay for us as we had planned to ride over to Barmouth which only took 25 mins. Families with smaller children may find the location a little too far away from local attractions.

Very peaceful location and stunning views

Staff were super helpful and friendly, toilets and showers all over site, very clean! Also a short drive to the beach, 5 stars.

The best views, beautiful location, pitches are excellent, facilities are clean. What more could you ask for? Oh yes pony trekking on site! Will 100% be returning and would recommend to friends and family.

Amazing spot with lovely view

Lovely place with toilets kitchen etc right by the pitch. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Definitely be back soon.

Great site

This is a great site the views are excellent, the staff were helpful and friendly. Toilet blocks were clean and tidy. We’ll definitely be back in the future.

Absolutely brilliant, lovely helpful staff and owners, the views are the nicest I have ever seen. Clean shower rooms with toilet and sink in each cubicle. We will be booking again.

Lovely campsite with fantastic views

A great campsite with a fantastic view of Barmouth and the estuary. Every pitch is terraced and well looked after. The showers were hot and toilets were clean. I would stay here again.

Fabulous

Bwlchgwyn Farm seems to cater for a wide range of holidaymakers, from family groups to socially minded people who like to gather and chat. I am a solitary sort and requested a 'tranquil' pitch. My stay was wonderful. I had a secluded grass pitch, handy for ablutions etc and had two days of complete peace and quiet. The showers were clean and well maintained, and there was a welcome rule about excessive noise after 10.30. Gemma was a wonderful host and I thoroughly enjoyed my time there.

Beautiful location and very good facilities

Outstanding panoramic views from any point, very good facilities and friendly and helpful owners - we were given the best pitch. A short drive to Fairbourne and beautiful resort of Barmouth. And we were lucky with the weather!

Up on the hills at Bwlchgwyn Farm

Beautiful location with a stunning view of the Irish Sea, Barmouth and the Welsh mountains. Was great to spot stars as it was so clear. Owner was helpful and welcoming. Fire pit and logs available, that's always a bonus. Facilities where good and clean. Can walk to Barmouth in less than an hour or catch the train over the bridge. Great for the kids.

Wonderful trip

What a really nice place with a great view. There was so much to do all around the area too. Pony trekking, Fairbourne miniature railway, Barmouth and Harlech Castle to name a few. Definitely will be going back.
