Flaxton Meadows Reviews

Adult only and dog friendly touring park, Flaxton Meadows is a peaceful base offering the best of both worlds being just 15 minutes from York and ten minutes from the start of the Howardian Hills, within easy reach of the North York Moors. The site is kept small with just 25 pitches for campers and tourers with excellent eco-conscious facilities including a bar, pizza, nature trail, a launderette and facility block with underfloor heating.

We found Flaxton Meadows to be a relaxing and peaceful place to stay. It was our first time on a campsite and would not hesitate to go back again. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the facilities were spotlessly clean.

The best showers, like being in your own bathroom - warm, spotless and even a hairdryer! The whole site is well maintained.

Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding PitchesApr 2023

Fantastic new site. Well laid out, lovely little bar and beer garden, with dog walk route. The showers and toilets are very nice and the warmest with underfloor heating, there is no shivering showers. Wash and dryer payg and dog wash. New reception being built so may be a bit noisy for the next few months. Can't wait for my next visit.
