Walnut Farm is a small family run site surrounded by fields and wildlife, offering touring pitches, glamping and self catering accommodation. There is a great range of grass pitches with and without electric for campers and tourers as well as hard-standings for touring in the winter. Or leave the tent at home and stay in one of the cosy glamping yurts. Enjoy a day of sea swimming and seal watching, as the beach is only a short walk away!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Walnut Farm, a warm welcome, clear instructions and a good pitch. The facilities were excellent and everything had clear instructions how to use etc. the bonus was the easy walk to the beach and the river walk all on their private land. We would stay again. Thank you.

We had a lovely overnight stay. There is a 15 minute walk along farm path that leads to a golden sandy beach which was empty, even on a Saturday in half term!! Our kids had so much fun running around all afternoon, the only thing was when we got back we were in need of a shower, but hadn't thought to purchase the tokens from reception while they were open 🤣 We just chucked bottled water over them and it was fine. The toilets were clean and the washing up facilities were good, they had even provided washing up liquid. The goats are very cute and friendly! Thank you for a great stay!

We have visited before and again enjoyed our stay. Good size pitch and facilities good. Shower and toilet block clean. You have to buy shower credits but a £1 for 10 mins is nothing to moan about. A small shop at reception with ice creams so the granddaughters were happy. Site owners were welcoming and friendly. Location good for walking to the beach which is about 10/15 mins and we got to appreciate the lovely wild flowers and butterflies on the way. A lovely weekend and would definitely recommend this site if you're wanting a peaceful site.

Great location, a beautiful walk of about a km to the beach. Well kept spacious pitches. Simple, but clean and more than adequate facilities. Peaceful and calm site with sweet resident goats! Very family friendly. We didn't want to leave!

Nice quiet site, plenty of space between pitches and very clean toilets and showers. Friendly staff, dog friendly and plenty of walks to choose from, a short 1km walk to sea front.

The toilet and shower units are individual wet rooms, with towel rails. Yes you have to pay for the showers, but they were clean and nice. Our pitch 14 was good, hedges either side.

I could not fault Walnut Farm. Perfect spot, just a short walk to the beach on a private trail direct from the farm no roads, perfect for my dogs. Facilities are extremely clean. The reception has a small supply of goodies which was very nice. Staff were very helpful. Beach was very nice, long walks available on both North and South. Lots of seals to see. These are monitored by volunteers who have a good knowledge of the seal colonies. Sea Paling is a walkable beach with cafe, fish 'n' chips, a small amusement arcade. Lovely little village. Walnut Farm have a circular walk to a river which is easy and well maintained. I will definitely be going back. Only downside was I could only get 3G signal on my phone. But hay ho! I was on holiday. My dogs loved the walks too.

This was our first stay at the site. Staff very friendly and excellent facilities. Excellent pitches and not too far a walk to the beach. Booked again for later on in the year.

This was our very first stay in our new campervan and we loved it. Our pitch was very spacious and secluded. We loved the two walks right from the site either to the beach or the river. We would definitely return.

Very pleasant stay at Walnut Farm by Waxham Beach. Lovely, quiet, peaceful spot with resident goats! Friendly owner and staff who were busy harvesting potatoes during our stay and we were advised this might create some noise from the lorries, but we didn't hear a thing. The owner kindly offered us a pitch further away from the farm buildings to offset any potential noise. Range of pitches available, grass or gravel, and as we walked about, we could see how many there actually were but being early in the season, it was very quiet. Usual facilities of very clean loos, showers, washing facilities etc and chemical waste disposal but no grey waste disposal. Site also has mobile homes/chalets to rent. There is a direct 20 min walk to stunning Waxham Beach where you can see the local seals. Nice beaches to visit along the coast, including pretty Winterton on Sea but MH's are not permitted to park in the beach car park 😞 Lovely walks all about and super coffee shop just a mile or so away. We felt Walnut Farm offered what we required for our visit and was clean and exceptionally well presented. Lovely views across open farmland and countryside. Peaceful stopover near beaches which is what we go for with our 2 dogs. To be highly recommended 😊

We had a short couple of nights stay, Walnut Farm is a lovely tranquil site, no frills on a working potato farm, within walking distance to the beautiful beaches We stayed on pleasant gravel winter/early spring plot with hook up, basic but functional shower/toilet facilities along with washer/dryer (didn't use) all priced at reasonable cost via an easy to use pre-charge smart card provided at reception. Easy access and friendly welcome - thank you for hosting us.

Great location with a lovely walk down to the beach where you can see loads of seals. Good, flat and dry pitches. Good clean facilities. I feel the facilities would be very busy in the summer when all the grass pitches are in use, unless there are a number of others that are closed off out of season.

A very pleasant site in a idyllic location, near the sea and beautiful countryside. The site owner was very welcoming. The facilities were good and super clean, but there was no heating on at this time of the year and the laundry was closed. We visited out of season and there was only one other couple on site, I would certainly like to go again.
Site's response
Hi Liz, Thank you for your review, we are delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us, and would like to return. We are slightly confused by a couple of your comments though. You say that there is no heating in the facilities, yet each shower room has a heated towel rail on 24/7. We are also unsure as to why you think the laundry was closed, as it is open 24/7, 365 days a year. Hopefully see you again. Kind regards Mark & Helen

A very good location, there is a path that leads to the beach (1km). A good place to start walks or bike rides. Very clean pitches and facilities, the two pitches on gravel and the rest on asphalt, very small. Apart from one, all other water points need a very long hose. Basic, black, water waste point. I did not find grey water waste point. The showers are charged as extra, one toilet and one sink for dishes (winter time). Positives: very quiet, close to the beach, felt secure.

Excellent place for a few nights away, we walked to Waxham and Horsey Gap to see the seals. The only thing you need is a car to get to any pub for a meal, as they're not in walking distance. I would visit again, thanks.

Absolutely lovely and peaceful, just what we needed. Beautiful facilities, in fact the best facilities we have ever had on a campsite in all our years of travelling. Great hosts! We will definitely be back!

A really nice place, with wide pitches and we used the electric hook up. The showers are clean and the cards to use them are £1 for 10 minutes, which was plenty. There was lots of wildlife around, but it didn't bother our dog. Would recommend.

We had a really lovely stay here in Norfolk. It was a great campsite, the perfect location to the beach and the campsite owner was so helpful in helping us move the caravan. A very friendly and organised campsite, I would highly recommend.
