About the site
Hire a boat in Beccles, visit the beaches of Southwold, go crabbing in Walberswick or sit back and relax amongst nature at this wildlife haven. Family and dog friendly, this is a lovely spot to slow down and escape from the everyday. There are just five grass pitches with optional 10 amp electric hook up for tents only. Each spacious pitch is surrounded by rewilded areas to give privacy and the feeling of being immersed in nature. You'll also be provided with your own picnic bench. If glamping is more your style, the Bumblebee Glamping Pod is the ideal romantic getaway for two. Inside you will find a cosy double bed, along with a dining table, mini kitchenette, kettle and fridge, with bedding and towels both provided. There are also two shepherd's huts to choose between, Dragonfly and Foxglove. These are complete with a cosy double bed with all linen and towels provided, a dining table, cooking equipment for use in an outdoor cooking area as well as access to a small, communal kitchenette space with a kettle, microwave, toaster, fridge and freezer. All glamping units have their own outdoor seating, fire pit and private designated shower/toilet in a nearby shower block. Up to two people can sleep in the shepherd's hut, but there is space for a travel cot and space outside to pitch a tent for an additional four people. A maximum of two dogs are allowed for an additional cost, just please ensure they remain on the lead. Campfires are allowed and you can rent a fire pit on site from the honesty shop along with wood, kindling and other goodies.
