About Organic Welltree
Organic Welltree is the perfect setting for a dreamy retreat in the wilderness. Explore the beauty of the Big Tree Country in Perthshire, enjoy the peaceful forest garden with lots of wildlife or read a book next to the wood-burning stove. The sites aim to protect and conserve the nature around them, which is reflected with the yurts as both are sustainably built with all-natural materials and finished with Scottish Whiskey Barrel Staves. Both yurts have a large glass wall (30% of the wall) which combines the remote yurt's aesthetic qualities with more natural light and an enhanced sense of connection to nature. Another unique features includes a solid 8 spoke crown. Each comes complete with a handmade king-sized bed along with a stove and cups, plates, bowls and cutlery. You have all you need for a relaxing, comfortable and peaceful break away from it all. During your stay, expect to have regular visits from the locals, also known as the incredible wildlife. You'll see the likes of roe deer, buzzards, red squirrels, foxes and more. The list goes on and on. Your stay includes a daily organic breakfast to get you going for the day. The breakfast includes fresh eggs, bread, jam, yoghurt, fruits and tea or coffee - what a treat! You'll also get a bag of firewood.
Organic Welltree is open all year round.
There is a local village store just a 5-minute drive away in Balbeggie. A little further in the town of Scone you'll find the big-name mini stores with a Coop and Tesco extra where there are also excellent options for eating out such as the Scones Arms Hotel restaurant or the La Sicilyana. The close by City of Perth offers a wide range of restaurants, cafes, and bars.

Loved our couple of nights in the Bramble Yurt. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating, the location was peaceful and exactly what we were hoping for. The yurt was cosy when the fire was going and the breakfasts were lovely.

I recently had the pleasure of staying in one of the yurts here. It was a truly wonderful experience. The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the yurt itself, which was beautifully decorated and provided a cosy and unique atmosphere. The host was gracious and welcoming, who went above and beyond to ensure that I had a comfortable stay, including providing a lovely breakfast basket with delicious treats in the morning. I hope to have the opportunity to visit again soon and would highly recommend staying here for anyone looking for a memorable and one-of-a-kind experience.
