Perfect little campsite

Lovely campsite with friendly staff and clean and convenient facilities. We would absolutely book again, there's plenty to explore nearby.

Fantastic for so many reasons

Fantastic site. Lovely staff esp dolly and dougie. Large pitches. Relaxed atmosphere. Super clean and imaginative facilities. Easy walk into tavistock via a pub 😉then bus back. They have loads of diff accommodation on site suiting everyone i would think. Will defo be back.

Excellent!!!!

Stunning campsite, with excellent service from the staff. Facilities are 5* and kept incredibly clean. Play area is also very good and plenty of room between pitches.

Perfect campsite

Absolutely lovely site. Would highly recommend. The owners are attentive without being intrusive, really lovely people

Great stay

Superb little site!! Arrived recently for our stay of just 2 nights lovely staff to assist our check in and took us down to the pitch, terrific well presented and well maintained site. Facilities are plentiful and extremely clean and well looked after. We all enjoyed time down by the river edge where a little paddle in the water was refreshing for the feet. Pitches were well maintained with lovely lush short grass and nice and flat, flat enough for our 4 year old to try her bike without stabilisers and she cracked it. Without doubt we would return to this site and hopefully it remains in good hands in the future.

Wonderful stay

First time at the Harford Bridge park, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. Easy to get to and within close proximity to the lovely town of Tavistock and Dartmoor. Our check-in was perfect and the staff are helpful, friendly and welcoming. The park is well maintained and facilities are scrupulously clean. I would definitely recommend a stay at the Harford Bridge Park.

Lovely campsite, friendly helpful staff

Very friendly staff on this site including a member of staff showing us to our plot. We had a grass plot with no hook-up but was nice to have an actual reserved plot, rather than parking randomly. Showers and toilets very clean, and music is a bonus! Lovely campsite, friendly helpful staff, very clean showers and toilets (with music). Nice to have a reserved plot and not just random parking. Would definitely return and recommend this site.

A real gem of a campsite, friendly staff , big pitches. We had a river front pitch which was lovely . Great location for walks to local pubs and longer hiking up on Dartmoor. Tennis rackets and balls provided free of charge from reception. Family came along and had a pitch next to us and also had a lovely time. I plan to return at some point.

Nice bear the riverside

We preferred a spot next to the river. When we booked, it wasn't available anymore. Too bad. When we arrived, there was a spot free. Is it not available because of the price difference?

Upon reviewing your booking through Campsites.co.uk, we can confirm it was for a Grass Pitch with Electric Hook-Up. While we would have been more than happy to offer an upgrade to a Grass Riverside Pitch with Electric upon arrival, please note that these pitches do carry a slightly higher rate.

Great site

We had a great stay just for one night but we will definitely return for longer. It is such a lovely site in a wonderful location. The lady who was zipping around the park was very welcoming.. The shower and toilet block was so clean and all in good working order.

Lovely site

We came down for 1 night in the camper with our dog. The facilities were lovely, clean and very central. The little shop was good for essentials and well priced.

Relaxing stay

What a lovely place to camp. Relaxing next to the river, quite beautiful scenery. The facilities are all you need, really clean toilet and shower block. A lovely field for the dogs to have a good run in. Looking forward to our next stay.

Nice, clean site

Good stopover, but not much to do around site unless you want to go out hiking on the main roads around the area. We stayed on a riverside electric pitch, okay if you don't mind the loudness of the river sounding like the rapids 24 hours a day. Also, the bridge road is quite busy with loud cars. Did leave early due to the wet weather.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. We're sorry the weather wasn't on our side during your stay and that the river was running a little fast as a result. If the sound of the river proved too distracting, we would have been more than happy to help you move to a different pitch—our wardens or reception team are always on hand to assist with such requests. There are several public footpaths accessible directly from the site, as well as access to the moor via Peter Tavy for those seeking more adventurous hikes. Details of these routes are available on our app, and printed copies can be found at reception. Harford Bridge Park is a great central base for exploring both South and North Devon, as well as East Cornwall. It's also a lovely spot to relax and unwind. We're sorry to hear that it may not have been the perfect fit for your needs, but we appreciate your feedback and hope you enjoyed some aspects of your visit.

Campsites review

Great site, friendly, helpful staff, very clean well organised. The only downfall was the shop was a bit sparse.

While we're fortunate to be close to Tavistock and its variety of supermarkets, this does mean our camp shop doesn’t have the turnover needed to stock a wider range of fresh produce. We enjoyed our stay at an excellent well looked after campsite with superb facilities. The staff were friendly and helpful, looking forward to a return visit.

Amazing place!

Amazing place and amazing people! Great for kids and furry friends. Clean facilities. Everything you need for camping or touring. Kids were able to feed the ducks and watch them hole visit. Amazing play area. Nice and quiet.

Great site

Great setting, but have to drive out, as not much around within walking distance. The Trout and Tipple has great breakfast.

Hello Stephen, thank you for your review of our lovely park with views towards Cox Tor and the River Tavy running through. A great place to relax & unwind for a couple of days or a fantastic central location if your wish to explore the wider area by car. We're only an hour's drive from the beaches of South Devon and the surf beaches in North Devon. 15 minutes drive will also get you across the Tamar River and into Cornwall with Looe and Tintagel again only just over an hour away. We hope to see you again.

Peaceful settings

A truly peaceful and relaxing setting - perfect for unwinding. The host went above and beyond, even meeting me out of hours to personally guide me to my pitch. All the facilities were absolutely spotless and very well maintained. Couldn't have asked for a better stay. Highly recommend!

Excellent site

Excellent site, lovely people, quiet, beautiful surroundings, peaceful, will definitely come again. Great pubs nearby and also easy to visit Tavistock. Great field to walk the dogs safely. Thank you!

Spring break in the rain

Lovely stay again

Another lovely stay at Harford Bridge. The grounds and facilities are beautiful and clean. Shout must go out to Dolly and Doug who are very helpful and always greet you with a smile and a quick chat. Thank you team Harford Bridge.

Warm welcome to an idyllic campsite

We received a warm welcome from the campsite warden despite arriving after reception opening hours. The site is well organised, calm, beautifully looked after and spotlessly clean. We enjoyed camping next to the river, watching birds, bats and jumping trout! We had planned to go to the pub but ended up having two meals from the onsite takeaway van (Peckish) which were delicious. We were able to sit at the picnic table by the river to eat these. We hope to come again soon!

Excellent visit

We arrived to a lovely welcome and shown to our pitch. We were helped out when we had a hook up problem. The whole site is clean and tidy. The shower block is warm, very clean and well laid out. In fact the whole place is well planned for all, even a dog shower! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back.
